We don't need a deal. We need a coach who is not stuck in his ways.

Singlehandedly set this franchise back and now the roster will most likely need major changes

It's funny, Thibs is always saying players need to do what the gane tells them to do, meanwhile he seems to ignore what game is telling him...
It's always easier to criticize than it is to take criticism.
Det just won a game while buying time for Beef Stew to heal up his injury some.
Why can't you have both if you have chip ambitions?

It's hard to know what we actually need because we are so mismanaged.
Just saw that Kat didn't take any shots in the 4th quarter

How is that possoble? We ran maybe one Kat and Brunson pick and roll in the 4th...smh
We got Kat to pair with Brunson to give them space to kill teams. They have yet to do that because teams pack the paint helping off Hart. Who knows Bridges might actually be good if he had space for his mid range shots.
This is what we got for ignoring the signs on Thibs for years. IHart hid so many of Thibs coaching warts.
I am an idiot that have not coached a single game in my life and I can see the problem that Thibs can't.
While the coach I wanted instead of Thibs made the Cavs ne of the best teams in the league. The same Cavs team we used to destroy. The Cavs play 2 bigs and are able to still create space.
remember when we signed Thibs and he said he spent the year learning modern offenses? That was a lie. The sad part is his defense sucks for modern offenses to. So what exactly is the point of having him coach us? Bad on offense. Bad on Defense. Don't even adjust to the game. OK, since I got that off my chest i'll calm down.

He’ll of a bounce back game by Cade. Have to find a way to make things tougher for him.
He got his points but OG guards him tough. Hopefully, that consistent "D" will wear him down. I do wish the refs would occasionally call his frequent hooking of defenders and pushing off. We learned tonight that we can't expect a consistent whistle.
I won't argue about this being a Thibs loss. We didn't use the bench. We didnt run a real offense.
2 ballhandlers made a different last game. Why not try it again?
Still after all that - plenty of open shots that if we make, we can win
We got outrebounded and they got significantly more FT (imo not deservedly)
We clean that up and we’re fine. Not sure why cam and shames got no burn. We were short on a lot of shots. Either guys were tired or tight. Would have been nice to see if those guys could contribute some
Also for the first 3 quarters they pressured JB full court. We were essentially playing w 15 seconds in a half court set and they were playing w 19 or 20
We also didn’t run much
How does Karl Anthony Towns play so many minutes without shooting?
If he is not taking shots, why is he out there?
If a 1st round loss leads to Thibs being fired it might be worth it. We not beating elite teams with him as the coach anyway.
He sums up our spacing prety well here.
I think Jalen got too hung up on looking for the whistle every time they contacted him coming up thr floor. I think that as much as anything contributed to why it took us so long to get into sets. He has to stop looking for the whistle and just play ball.
Sorry if this is spam but I am so pissed we wasted another year with this bad coach.
Annoying loss I wish I could erase from memory. Give the Pistons credit. They did what they had to do which was win one of these first two on the road. Cunningham was tremendous and Schroder hit a clutch three.
The zebras were biased and horrendous but they aren't the only reason we lost. And it also doesn't fall on one or two players or even the HC alone. I think everyone shared the blame with this one. Have to start with Bridges missing all the clutch threes that would have won it imo. Schroder made his and Bridges chocked on his attempts. They were all great looks too. Very disappointing cause he was having a really good bounce back game but you have to knock down the important ones!
KAT was invincible and there is plenty of blame there too. I blame Thibs and Brunson for not looking more for him but KAT shares most of the blame cause he was too aloof and disinterested. No fire or sense if urgency. Like he forgot how good he is and was content just standing in the corner. He needs to be more aggressive and assertive and fucking yell and demand the ball! Especially when he has Tobias freaking Harris trying to guard him!
OG was pretty bad too. Maybe Suni didn't call him back? But seriously an off game for OG at both ends. He didn't check Cade as well as the first game. I didn't like how easily he gave up on switches cause he faught through them to stay on Cade in game one.
Bench was nonexistent except for Mitch battling on the glass. Shamet was awful and I won't be surprised or sad if he doesn't play again in this series. Deuce banked in a big 3 but we need more. Payne came back down to earth but Thibs shouldn't have given up on him and not play him in the second half.
Brunson tried his best but we aren't going to win with just him. He needs help! But this was never going to be an easy series. We'll win one on Detroit and come back tied 2-2.
