I was thinking exactly the same thing.

Happy Friday!
I understand the importance of game 3. I think everyone knows Boston is dangerous and can extend the series but Boston willing game 3 really restarts the series again. I DO love how the Knicks play after a loss, so even if we get smoked in game 3 I could see us playing like maniacs to get to 3-1 after 4 which is pretty darn good

OR... hear me out... what IF, the Knicks flip the script and actually have a lead in the 4th quarter?
Saturday afternoon game could be a really great atmosphere. Not the after work crowd, people bringing their kids. We can't let go of the rope- anything can happen here, but win one of these 2 home games and we're setting ourselves up nicely. 2 game losing streak at home right now though.

KAT is THE BEST center in this series, and by a good margin IMO. He needs to play like it and has IMO has. He's really been impactful, especially physically.

Knicks have NOT played well. Missed a ton of shots. Bridges/Brunson were terrible until late. Getting beat on the boards, turnovers... Celtics have a great defense but I feel after these two games they feel more exposed than we do.
Then again KP can shot 15-22 from 3 on any given day but I like our chances. Thibs his committed to guarding the 3 in this series and Celtics are committed to shooting it. Lets see what cracks and what holds!
This clip would sure look nice on a Championship blu ray

Celtics have to be lamenting they are wasting holding Brunson to 6/19. Just like we'd have had regrets not beating the Celtics in these games where they are shooting 25% from 3 and 37% overall with Tatum and Brown shooting like doodoo.
Both teams are capable of shooting way better. Will it ever happen this series. Playoffs have a funny way of mucking things up with defense coming forward. Pistons series helped gain confidence in winning ugly. The Thibs culture of not quitting on a game and staying locked in is emerging again. I don't expect us to blow anyone out, but as long as we don't get too undermanned I expect us to hang tight.
That said you take the 3 - you're adding variability. They shoot 35-40% from 3 and we keep struggling to score and thats a 20 pt victory for them.

Thibs will probably pass out because of lack of familiarity

This one gotta make the list too, tunes are fun
I so regret not pulling the trigger when tickets were $480. Those same tickets are now over $1000.
Still might do it though.

That price difference is a lot of lap dances! Just saying
Better than listening to Reggie Miller for sure

Or he could hire his favorite pornstar. Oh, I forgot, Ron Jeremy is still in prison.

Reggie has been pretty painless... that was a pretty pro Knick broadcast
On a side note I have been drinking in all the Boston media who have no clue how or why this is happening.

Knicks offense has been abysmal, they are winning with defense and insane 4th quarter runs. If they can clean up the offense a little bit they are in good shape, I think they have to operate thinking Boston is gonna shoot better which means our offense will need to be better.

or opposing defenses have played well... Mikal has been quiet offensively and Brunson has yet to give us a big game. But Detroit and Boston are surely scheming around busting up his rhythm. Just find a way to win.
One of the things coming out of Boston is this sentiment that the Celtics will win the series cause they are just gonna average out with the shooting but Bill Simmons was like "NY has some good games in them. Just wait for a couple 40 point games from Brunson with Kat shooting 8-10 from downtown"
Everyone I hear talk really fears Brunson. Like they just feel like he's scoring everytime down the floor late in games. Any miss feels like such a win
