Hart sucked tonight. Yes he got 13 rebounds but his shooting sucked tonight and his perimeter defense against the pacers is a liability. Mitch needs to play more. Play Deuce more with Brunson.
The endless barrage of 3’s at the end of the 4th qtr a lot of those were shot against Hart. His lack of length and lateral quickness got exposed

This doesn't sting as much as I thought it would. But I am a bit down on Hart. Losing Nesmith. Stumbling all over the place and missed coverage. Same with Bridges.
Pippen and MJ were attack dogs on defense. Can't say the same of our perimeter guys. Except OG. Bridges and Hart don't put fear into opponents that if they're close, the best thing is to give up the ball.

Btw. There was a play that looked like a goal tend by Myles Turner followed by a pacers 3. I kind of lost track on what happened there. It was a weird moment at the game. Anybody know what happened with that?
Brunson was keeping his head down as he was bringing up the ball(as he often does) and that can get a player into trouble. And it did. Didn’t see traps coming, and turned the ball over. Hopefully Brunson will do a better job of passing out of double teams in game 2.
Let's look at the bright side. It took an historic night, the biggest choke in nba history for the pacers to win.
Plus, the pacers are shooting an astonishing 40% for 3pts in these playoffs. They are bound to cool off someday. Next game is an absolute MUST win though. Got to break their confidence.
