Year 1: Return to playoffs, win first playoff series in a decade.
Year 2: Drags an injured team to game 7 of 2nd round.
Year 3: ECF game 6.We're building.
But we also don't have an infinite timeline. This window might be open for another 2 yrs max. When you knock out the champs, you cant make the mistakes we did the next round. Kinda shot ourselves in the foot too much against a team that is playing at its absolute best.
Mitch played his ass off today - I've been critical but Mitchy showed up IMO.
Everyone is a negative +/- except the players who came in during garbage time.

Yea they are a year ahead of us
This series loss is tough — and honestly, a disgrace.
Thibs got thoroughly outcoached. His refusal to adjust throughout the playoffs was glaring and, frankly, costly.
Reaching the conference finals is great, but we were the better team. Let’s be real: Bridges was a disappointment. Not worth the picks — and he flat-out lost us the game tonight.
Obi was massive. Leon never should’ve traded him to a conference rival — and that only compounded the mistake of drafting poorly in the first place.
Towns didn’t show up when it mattered most.
The guys played hard, and we appreciate the fight. It was a battle. But yeah — this one hurts.
This may never happen for the boys

okc will win 4-0
they will put Dort on Hali and it's game over
Congrats to the Knicks on playing a tough series. We didn't want to have to go back to MSG for a game 7. I know that this won't be the last that we see of each other. I'm not sure if your team should/will come back as constructed. Giannis would be an excellent fit. I just question what it would take for you to get him.
I wonder how KAT’s knees will be with another season of wear.
I’m not looking forward to watching this team next season.
Knicks were a super low turnover team all year, but the press killed us. And we saw it last year and had no adjustment.
Carlisle really owns Thibs

He can’t be on the floor same time as KAT. If they are together you absolutely need Mitch there to mitigate it
Kat was awful defensively and Jalen simply brutal.
Jalen handle today just absolutely losing his dribble and having to back up the court vs Nembhart was hard to watch.
As a coach don't you see that and say I need someone else on the ball? Our coach see's it and says I need Josh Hart.
Josh walked into game today and just started getting beat and making bonehead plays all game - send him packing.
Or move him to the bench. Played big in a lot of games for us.

Yep - we can't just lose we have to implode and melt away in embarrassment.
Watching this team in times like these I see huge athleticism and skill (ball-handling - passing) deficiencies.
Clunky is best word to describe.

get a life.
what the hell are you even doing on a Knicks forum
Martin please ban this douche bag
Bridges and Brunson 5 turnovers each. Bridges the 2nd ballhandler was useless. They pressed this shit out of us
Turnovers killed us. Just take care of the fucking ball and we could win this. Fuck.

Definitely saw Boston as the biggest hurdle, so it stings to lose to Indy of all teams, but this is also year 1 of Kal and KAT. Don't necessarily like the change in identity, but major shakeups like this tend to take a year.
Was a fun ride getting to ECF. We have a long off season to review. Would love to bring the toughness back.

Congrats on the win. Hope you get crushed in the Finals.
Francesa is going to go ballistic on Thibs for benching Mitch almost the entire second half

Agree with all of this. Best Knick season in 25 years. Sucks to go out how we did. Bizarre fluke loss in game 1 did us in.
