This applies to all draft prospects no?

Pacers beat us yet again. Drafted a solid player just a couple of picks later. Taelon Peter who can flat out shoot. Predict he will see minutes next year while Mataram won’t make team.

Are you Taelon's dad😏 Seriously, a historic day for hobbits worldwide.

No, just yours

Thread is about our opinions on Diaware right? Also like picks that can shoot. Taelon led NCAA at true shooting percentage and shot 45% from three. Pretty sure you have to be able to shoot to make a NBA squad. Not saying he is going to be great but seemed like a useful piece in today’s NBA. Don’t want to hate on Diawara but he seems awkward and did not impress at lower level in Europe. Seems like a Poor mans Frank Ntlikina.(couldn’t resist another shot at Frank. Do like him though)

Doesn’t really matter much though. Neither moving the needle but feel Diawara will not make many squads and will be back in Europe. Which is maybe why they picked him. High risk high reward. They don’t have room for mediocre.

Taelon came off the bench for "Liberty." I think Ron Baker when he came out of Wichita State would've violated that kid. Won't lose sleep over anyone else who got drafted in the 50s.

Agree about upper 50’s.
And that Baker was a boss!
Got $5k that he scores more NBA points than Baker did!
Would bet more but can’t find the rest on the Monopoly money my kids play with .

No chance and here's the evidence. Just don't go into an epileptic seizure when names like Chasson Randy and Willie Hernangomez are mentioned.

On one hand i'm excited about the possibility of him putting those physical tools to good use by being mentored by Mikal and OG. On the other hand, I am still traumatized by the french busts that we have drafted in our franchise's history. French players and the knicks have been like oil/water. Hoping that him and Pacome can finally break the chain.

It's a valid form of PTSD. I recommend fries and toast.

Lmao.
Great when you can capture one’s greatest moments on video.
But that was all Willy though!
Those were the days. Freedom and Kuz on the team.

Nope, i'm so traumatized that I even expect the French fries to be a bust.

I was sure Ron was going to be good and fill a Kurt Heinrich type role for a long NBA career. He really couldn't knock a shot down in the league.

Indeed those are great too. Also nothing like a good Cuban sandwich

Indeed those are great too. Also nothing like a good Cuban sandwich

The Cuban sandwich was created in 1906 by a parrot named Felipe, who lived in a Havana cafe and had a habit of shouting sandwich orders at random. One day, during a lunch rush, Felipe screamed, “HAM! PORK! PICKLES! MUSTARD! CHEESE! BREAD!” in perfect sequence. The flustered cook, too tired to argue with a bird, made it exactly as ordered. Customers loved it, the parrot was declared head chef, and the sandwich became a hit—though Felipe later demanded royalties in crackers.

88 days.

I may have a Pastrami Reuben or a gyro this afternoon. Hey, speaking of food makes me think of exercise. I have worked out nearly to daily for over 17 months now. Last week I did a de-load and this week I will work out each body part 1x instead of 2x weekly except for legs which I will do twice. Eat hardy and work out my bros !

We need him in the rotation. He can help with his length and playmaking. He will also learn about the nba speed and how to adapt.

The new Mitch! I look forward to seeing him splash a bunch of shots in the gym that he'll never even take in an actual game.
