Pretty good about 1/3 the way thru

Feel he has done everything a new coach needs to do.
Blend his style to fit current roster.
Have the respect of all the players.
Have players buy in to his system.
Have the support of the star players and old assistants.
And of course, winning does not hurt.
Coach Brown only played 8 players! Fire Mike Brown.
Oh, wait. They won...
Anyone worried he's the right guy?
Seems to have a fractured relationship with KAT? He's dapping up Draymond and calling out KAT?
Team has completely strayed from his offensive system the last 3 ish weeks
Defense has been non-existent
All he ever says is "they were more physical than us."
Been fired 3 times, twice midseason. Its way easier to change the coach than trade a 52mm player...
Gotta show signs of leadership on this homestand
I don't see that they haved moved on from the offense.
Nalod can't figure out how to fix this team. Im sure if Brown knew he'd have done it by now.
I saw GSW execute hits plan and hit their shots.
All I know is change is not always improvement so making a trade is not always the answer. Am I worried he not the right guy?
I generally never advocate firing a coach as the answer except for Isiah who I dispised from day one.
This bad stretch was enevitable but its still sucks. If and how we come out of it remains the question.

Nalod can't even figure out how first person pronouns work
So far I’m not impressed we look completely under prepared lots of pounding the ball with zero movement and the defense has regressed to the worst I’ve seen with this group .
Players look unhappy and unmotivated….
Call thibs apologies and get out coach back. Someone who can bring towns back to superstar level… towns looks like he wants to punch brown in the face.
Last I checked thibs is still looking for a job he had his issues but having the team be ready and prepared was not one of them…
Brown Sucks. Just like Yabusele… they don’t belong in the nba
I wasn't on the Titanic, but I did see 9-11 happen with my own eyes.
But now I'm witnessing grown men pining for the return of Thibs.
That's some kind of biblical misery if you want that man back in the driver's seat.
Damn

So you’re saying there’s a chance?

Yes, there is a chance just like there is a chance Donald Trump will wake up one day and decide he should make amends and apologize to his rape victims.
This guy inspires zero confidence.
So glad we fired Thibs without a plan, and to make a couple of mediocre players happy!
You have no idea. We all know that you’ve got no idea.

Matt seems to be right. I wouldn’t have a problem firing Brown and hiring Mike Malone the guy I wanted last offseason.
This reminds of the 1995-1996 season. Don Nelson all time legendary coach who developed Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash among other accomplishments. Flopped here and fired after 59 games because he wasn’t an ass kicker and his personality not suited for NYC.

What a difference between 1/3 and 1/2

We don't know how things are in that locker room and in practices, but two points on this:
1. He doesn't have to inspire confidence in press conferences. I have no problem with him tip-toeing on being mad but trying to give the media-approved responses.
2. This isn't a young team. This is supposed to be a veteran team that buys into the system in place, like they seemed to be doing in 2025, instead of being the mentally weak team they constantly turn into (because we saw this last year too). This was supposed to be a battle-tested team on the rise, but yet again their character is in question and everything is unraveling like it has before.
This wasn't supposed to be a mentally weak team. Last season's struggles were attributed to a big new piece (KAT) still integrating to the team dynamic. But a playoff run later, different things were expected. I'm not trying to defend Brown, I just fully believe this is mostly on the players. I thought we would enjoy a year where we would finally want to keep the team together to grow stronger and closer, but something is rotten here and it was since last year.
