Knicks · Fire Mike Brown (page 6)

All the Pro-Thibs / Anti-Brown agendas out in droves when the team is slumping and the chips seem down. Only thing that matters to me is how we fare in the playoffs. Thibs teams excelled during the regular season and fell short in the post season. I'll reserve judgement & criticism on Brown until after the season.

we literally just beat the defending NBA champs who were heavy favorites last year.

Whatever floats your boat......because after that we lost to the Pacers.

yup the same Pacers who took OKC to 7 games and probably win it all if Hali doesn't get injured.

And we only lost because of a miraculously Hali bounce.

These are 90s Knicks numbers! We will 110% make the Finals and have a chance to win it if we continue to play this type of defense. Not sure if it's sustainable but this type of effort and communication needs to be the standard! Credit to Brown and Brendan O'Connor!

I agree and KAT with his dominate board play helps. We didn’t trade for KATs 60 mil salary to play defense and get rebounds. Now if we win it all, I guess it’s worth it. If we don’t, we could’ve spent that money elsewhere like resigning deuce and Mitch.

Cool. Sounds like you're happy rationalizing never winning a Championship. Congrats as its good to have low expectations.

One of the keys to the Championship is Towns. If Towns accepts playing the Joakim Noah role- that would set us up to win it all, as far as Towns contributions are concerned. Because we need a blue collar guy like that and IF Towns decides to pull down 30 rebounds each game while dishing 5 assists and not fouling= he can do it. He automatically becomes the best blue collar guy ( one that does all the unnoticed hard work)in the league. He will still be able to exploit matchups and get easy points. He just will not force it , like he has been. Instead he will force not fouling, getting boards and passing. It's a winning formula, I think

I would just like to say... fuck Joakim Noah.

Fuck Embiid. But also fuck Joakim Noah.

Noah is the inspiration behind my daily pull-up regimen.

Because of him I'm hoping someday someone will pay me $80M in guaranteed money after I show them how fit I am when I rip through a set of pull-ups.

It worked with Phil Jackson and god willing it will work for me with another sucker like Phil.
