Can we sign Lillard for the vet min?
Why would he come here to be Brunson’s backup when healthy ? This unfortunately might be another Kemba situation.
How does that help us next year?
Really all depends on when he is ready to return and in what shape?
Perhaps he can just lay back and see how it all unfolds then pick his spot. He can drop on to a contender. Not not he choose to tear this heel, or get waived. But here he is and perhaps he just takes care of his body and see where it takes him.

Supposedly he may be back by the start of the playoffs. A pure shooter off the bench would help but fat fn chance he takes the vet mini to come here

Even less of a chance that that Knicks offer him a spot or that Lillard even makes a decision until he is ready, which also may not be until the following season.
If he wants to be with Knicks that would be cool. Figure some shit out and if he can play, why not.
If it don't work or he not ready what is the opportunity cost? Mcculler?
His progress and time line? I don't have his HIPA clearance or an opinion.
For that matter if we trade Josh and bring in Westbrook are we net positive depending on what Josh can Bring in return?
Im hoping at light goes off in Dadiet's head and he figures the game out sooner than expected.
It happens. Look at Grimes! Always rooting for Yoot to rise up.
