To be fair, it was a good call. Briggs had a lot of good calls. And bad calls.
To be super fair the domino effect is massive so the aggregate is hard to say.
Those moves were in part to undo some Kemba and clear salary to sign Brunson. We had no organic cap space so we had to pay a price. No doubt Williams outplayed his draft status in hindsight. Jalen Brunson outplayed that "crazy" contract and we are relevant.
Briggs appears to be active here with the game picker contest and glad he is still at it somewhere.
