The Pistons always have a good whistle. Look at the moving screens that were not called last playoffs. Timmy was legit just two hand shoving defenders on his screens and they would not call it. The Pistons have a good whistle and still gets called for a ton on fouls. That just shows you how much they get away with.
Pistons next games, with Duran on 2 game suspension and Steward missing 7.
We shall see how they end up after this stretch.

Bill Simmons february 11th pod cast had Nick Wright on and they tackled the Tank and how to fix the allstar game.
Good listen and some good ideas. Also discussed how the game has changed (not for the better), thinks the league is oblivious to thinking things are great because of revenue gains, why lower leg injuries are more prevelent, and had one funny as sarcastic line about how to fix the Allstar game:

Nalods take on how to fix it? Just dump it. But since younger viewers do watch it, and they become older viewers its not a bad reason? Sponsers like it. Attendance is good locally and its an nice economic benefit to host team and city. Me? Why complain about it? I don't watch it so why should I care.
Maybe league likes us whining about it. Keeps it relevant?
The flattened draft odds has made tanking worse. All the good teams moving up over the worst teams in the league just made more teams tank to take their chance at it. Has the worst team in the league ever won the number 1 pick since the odds changes? I don't remember it ever happening.

i mean good for them, they've had a great season and sometimes when guys are out you have a chip on your shoulder. but come playoff time, Jaylen Brown isn't going to be able to carry that team past us.

I wouldn't know. I have not watched All-Star weekend for years. Like Adam Silver said you can just watch highlights on social media.

I see what you mean now. If we are being honest the whole weekend must go. It has been trash for years. Steph being hurt meant we could not do the Steph, Klay vs Sabrina and Caitlin contest. That was about the only thing interesting that could save the entire event.

Strategy is to assault the other team and dare the refs to stop the game on every play.
I used to look forward to the dunk contest. But I think that ended 10-15 years ago or so
