Not surprised the Pistons got into a fight look at how the refs allowed the Pistons to play the knicks. If the Knicks were not soft it would have happened a game earlier. They were pretty much wrestling Mitch to keep him off the glass.
We'll keep seeing incidents with Detroit like this. I couldn't believe how dirty they are when we played them. We didn't fight back unfortunately.
Their whole strategy is to hack everyone until the refs clamp down to see how much they can get away with. Their defense is built on bullying other teams into submission.
That may have worked in the 90s, but it will start to backfire on them soon if they keep it up like they are. That clip was as close as the NBA will allow the current league to echo The Malice in the Palace.
I respected Detroit as an opponent, but after the last game I've lost all appreciation for them. Being tough is different than being dirty.
Until the refs start calling fouls then this is going to happen. It will escalate.

Really interesting listen.
Miami rolls out a new type of offense this year that has near zero PnR. Really good to begin the year, they cooked offensively.
By January, teams started to figure them out. Like they did the Knicks last year.
Let’s see how Spo counters.

Stopped reading ESPN articles a long time ago but thought this was a good one about the tragedy that is GS and Kuminga. Lots of inside stuff about the low down of NBA careers

Jeremy Sochan waived by the Spurs, per Shams. I always liked him and think he could thrive running alongside Jose, Deuce when he gets back, Hart and Mitch in an Energizer second unit.

Isn't this stat heavily affected by the efficiency of each player's back up? For example, if you're a top player and your team has no depth, obviously your on/off stat is going to be higher than if your backup is 6moy candidtate.

Sochan or Boucher? Both would definitely help but I may lean toward Sochan as he's a little nuttier and maybe could help our limited toughness? Our toughest guy just arrived a week ago and is 6'2" so toughness up front may be the biggest need for us.

Sochan it is!!

Yes, to a certain extent. Combine that with the overall rotation usage.

OKC was too rich with players I guess

you can only have so many top players, OKC is going to have a hard time developing guys bc they will always be WIN NOW and always have great depth. Nice "problem" to have, but all those picks don't worry me for that reason.
some of their guys are really looking overpaid now too, Chet on a MAX, JAY Will, and Ihart too who they might have to let go.

this is the guy OKC chose with our pick when they traded multiple firsts for our 11 (technically we chose for them)
certainly he was motivated to show OKC who they were letting rot on their bench

Pretty good turnaround. Let's see how they do with the suspensions
