I like Coach Brown and will be rooting hard for him to succeed but I also hope he doesn't try to change too much. I know it was 30 years ago but that's what happened with Don Nelson. He came in with all these new ideas and some of it did work but the players were not happy and that resulted in him losing the team. Playing JB off the ball sounds good and all but you want the ball in your best players hands.

Ian is usually not that far off base.

As noted last week, I’d expect the Knicks to let things play out during camp/preseason before they made a move to keep both Brogdon and Shamet. But if I’m placing a bet at the start of training camp, I’m betting that both Brodgon and Shamet are on the regular season roster. This Knicks team is in win-now mode, and injuries to Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton give them a direct pathway to the NBA Finals. They know they have a great opportunity to be playing in late June. That’s why I think they’ll ultimately go with veteran depth in Brogdon and Shamet.

To the bench, or the hospital. Pick one.

Media day has come so now I have to gear back up into Knicks mode. We have an amazing team this year and I can't wait to learn more about how all the new players play and the new coach coaches.

With Hart banged up with a bad finger the team has to keep Pacome now, right ?

Don't like this decision to try and play thru if he's already had a setback.

How did he have surgery and the finger still look like that?

Would prefer he just get another surgery rather than trying to handle/shoot with contraption on hand and every time someone comes down hard on that hand he's going to be holding it and in pain.

Just seems trying to tough thru this after having entire off-season to correct it going to lead to Josh absence maybe at a more critical time later in the year.

Doesn't look good on that finger and not a great sign the surgery didn't work. Lets see how it effects his play - a big jammed finger affects grip on those 50/50 rebounds and obviously could affect his shot.

Yep - grip on rebounds, handle, passing and shooting plus with a bad hand you tend to be less physical/ active defensively.

Josh is an animal but just don’t like running a guy out there compromised at start of a very long year - especially when we have a very deep roster.

I guess some fingers just don’t go back straight anymore but it’s a pain issue I’d be more worried about as it impacts everything mentally.
