So, I cut the cord a while ago. Last season I used Fubo during Knicks season and pretty much cancelled it after the season. What do you guys use for coverage?

Fubo and cancel is my route. Trying to decide when to start. Prob regular season.

Nalod @ 9/30/2025 2:59 PM
youtube TV. Its expensive. I get league pass thru it. It has NBATV. It was 49.99 when I started and now its $88 per month. Its all getting expensive again.
I'd like to cut cord as its got a lot of crap I don't watch but its live, easy accessible and when I need news its all there.
So is ESPN, TBS, and the major networks. It integrates with league pass as I can set it two DVR all knick games and it will take it from where ever its "broadcasted".
Huge timesaver Put a game on an hour after it starts and blow thru the commercials and halftime stuff. Watch a game in about 90 minutes or less.
EwingsGlass @ 9/30/2025 6:22 PM
So YouTube doesn’t have MSG but it has NBATV? No blackouts on Knicks?
Rookie @ 9/30/2025 6:25 PM
I think league Pass is cancelled through Youtube TV. Looks like it has been moved to Amazon Prime

Yes indeed! While this is not an issue given I do keep my Amazon prime active Im curious if I can tune in an existing broadcast then rewind it? Will it let me skip thru commercials? Will I even have a choice?
The pricing is not bad actually. Thing is what happens if they just broadcast via games via peacock?

The pricing does include NBAtv as part of the package and one can get a single concurrent device, single team for $89 for the whole year. $109 for single concurrent device for all league games. Im outside of charlotte and that shit gets blocked. Weird. Not with Youtube I did not have regional coverage for Hornets. So basically knicks/Hornet games I could not see broadcasted even if NBATV was doing it.

I think any of us in NY region are blacked out on NBA pass for NYK games.

I want to see this coach try something new for a change.

But unfortunately we played better in the playoffs with Mitch starting. And it got us that far so obviously you bring back that same starting 5.

But I selfishly want to see other starting 5s.

My new favorite is: Yabu instead of Mitch. 5 and out. Yabu can guard the best Center or Forward on any team with Towns blind side help.

My old favorite is: Deuce instead of Mitch. Gives us 3 lockdown perimeter guards and deuce (like Yabu) can guard the best opposing guard hiding Brunson. And deuce is the best PG defender on the team, next to Mikal and OG who btw, could be (potentially speaking) top 5 in the nba (all 3?). All in that starting lineup.

But my bet is: Mitch and Towns. Yabu off the bench early for Mitch. No more 45+ mins for Mikal and Josh. More scorers will be on the floor now. Surround the non shooters (Mitch & Josh) with scorers.

I love them both and they bring more to this team than any cons BUT

Mitch and Josh playing together makes the offense clunky. If their defense doesn’t impact consistently, we start to lose the scoring foot race because near every NBA team is built to score. Now we can do both regardless of injuries. We have potential injury protection due to our number of talented players. At least 11 or 12 deep. All impact players. Great mix of personalities. Confidence without the egos.

Only ways I can see to get Knicks game if you don't have cable or your cable doesn't carry MSG and you are in region are:
Gotham Sports (MSG) app on TV thru Roku, Firestick. About $30 month. I cancelled after MSG playoff coverage ended.
Fubo TV (stream) subscription
DirectTV (stream) TV subscription

They weren't for summer league games. Those were on NBA Network

Blade37db @ 10/2/2025 3:27 PM
So for those interested, the game was blacked out for me on NBA.tv/network saying it was on a local (ie. MSG) broadcast. It is being replayed later so will record and watch it then. Not ready to pay for Gotham app (or change TV providers) just yet

Prime worked great via league pass. Start it askes "start from the beginning" or "live".
Once game is over it stays on available for 72 hours? this all works for me. Can start it late and "catch up" as I do.
Picture quality was excellent. $109 is a good price lump sum for fullseason. Knicks will be on national tv alot and that I can DVR if I stay with Youtube. Sling pricing is better from what I can see.

Im out of market so its not the same for those getting blacked out.

YouTube sent me refund yesterday for my nba subscription. Just signed up on Amazon for $129. I hope their streaming is as easy to use as YouTube was. Looks like they have a less expensive option at half the price as well

Still haven’t figured out how to watch Hornets games live. Bally tv was total bs. I wasn’t going to pay for a subscription just to see two games a year for something that used to be carried on regular tv at no extra cost. I’ll probably just go to Charlotte for the home game. I really like the downtown area, great restaurants and everything is walking distance

Its crazy im blacked out on league pass for hornet games yet Youtube has no regional sports network as part of the package? Silly really. Im not to up on how regional networks are suffering but a bunch or bancuptcy last year left a few around the country with issues.

Amazon has 7 day free look. Seems like it will work fine. Can use the app and stream on my TV's. Its the League pass platform as it was, just not integrated to YouTube and its DVR. Save some money doing the one time payment.
