I don't miss Thibs ! Gone are the days when we all had to say " Thibs won't play more then 9 players anyway ". Rotation will be expanded and situational players will play more often. Players will earn minutes in practice. 11 players logged minutes without Mitch and Hart. Great sign.
Really good start to the season! So great to be able to sit back and watch a Knicks game and so blessed to hear Clyde still doing this at 80!
So many good things to like! Have to start with OG! Monster game with 24 and 14 with 4 threes and 3 steals! Made that huge clutch corner 3 and that nail in the coffin dunk to seal it! Deuce was equally as big! Made all the big shots every time Cleveland got close or took a slight lead. He's continues to grow as a player and I'm expecting a huge season from him. Liked what I saw from Kolek! Exactly what we need from the backup PG spot.
JB struggled with the shot but made all of his FT's and kudos to the entire team. Made 31/36 from the line! KAT had a decent game but holy shit the dumb fouls are annoying! He'll never freaking learn! Mikal started off hot and had some key defensive steals and deflections. Huk did a good job for his first start going up against a vet like Allen. Huk just did his job at the Center spot along with Jamison. Shamet with 2 big threes. Yabu and Clarkson were quiet. We killed them on the glass 48 to 32!!
You can def tell there is a huge difference between Thibs and Brown. We did play faster, seemed to pass the ball a lot quicker, seemed to be more an effort to shoot more threes and we went 11 deep. Defensively we still have ways to go but that was expected. You live with Spider getting hot and knocking down crazy floaters and step back threes but we left Wade and Merrill wide open for threes way too much. The 3pt defense overall needs to get a lot better. But like I've said, good win! 1 down, 59 to go!

I always looked at Clarkson like a better Cam Payne. He will win you some games but you need to know when to sit him. They are highly volatile. Yabu will help once his shot start to go in.

Clarkson had some nice shots and a nice assist to Towns at a key stretch. Yabu was silent but imagine when he picks it up.
Huk only 18 minutes but I thought he more than held his own against some very good front court guys
Best surprise for me tonight was Kolek - he was aggressive and looked solid.
Despite very poor 3 point shooting for Kat/Jalen/Mikal thought the starters were solid.
Huck needs to snatch the ball -- had his hands on a # of balls and got knocked away --- needs to play more forceful down the road.
OG/Deuce very nice games --- Yabu looking like more like Fred Flintstone (yaba daba doo) vs. key free agent addition.
Thought D was solid, ball moved pretty well and didn't find myself yapping at the TV to move the ball.
We don't look like world beaters TBH but solid.
Aside from Garland I would say don't forget about how big a factor Hunter is against the Knicks. Will be a different match-up next time. But I remain unimpressed by the Mobley/Allen duo. We crushed them on the boards without Robinson and Hart.
With Kolek actually getting time this season I think he should improve as the year goes on.

Good minutes all around. That KAT, OG, Bridges, Deuce and Brunson lineup was what I was waiting for that we never saw last year.
Kolek and Huk both with solid minutes. They might be just as valuable as Clarkson and Yabu to get through the season. Just good stuff overall.
Deuce was outstanding tonight...made a couple of huge 3's to end Cav runs and get the lead back for us....Also, was diruptive on defense. Same with OG. Loved seeing Brunson off the ball and not having to work so hard for buckets....
Kolek gave us great mins as well....he has the best vision and is the best passer on this team. Not only does he find open teammates, but he passes guys opne as well...Lsstly, love that Brown went deep into the bench. We actually outscored the Cavs bench!!!
Good to see so many guys get some run.
Feel that it will make the team so much deeper come playoffs.
Thought this would mean sacrificing some wins but guys all played well yesterday.
Curious to see who gets minutes when MR and Hart back.
Key will be how starters handle less minutes and less of the load.
JB and KAT will have to let others create the offense at times.
Noticed Brown stayed with Kolek and deuce through beginning of 4th when Knicks had a run.
Great start to a hopefully special season.
