Does anyone remember us ever having 7 straight home games? I don't rememberus ever having that many in a row.

Mike gave him 2 minutes and yanked him for Mitch who was pretty lame all night.

Given way Mitch limping around probably won't see him again until Easter and Yabu might get some rhythm / minutes to contribute something.

How are we in the age of ozempic and he's still overweight? Even Jerome James would have been slim if he played today.

Scored 128 on 31 assists and 20/42 from three and a perfect 22/22 from the line! Can't play much better than that!

Brunson came out on fire scoring 19 in the first and of course hit the key basket to seal the game at the end with the And1.

Clarkson was terrific off the bench with 15 in 19 minutes. Shamet hit all three of his threes. Bench scored 46!! KAT was great too and I loved his effort in the paint blocking 2 shots and taking it to the rim. OG also bounced back with 21 and Mikal had 9 assists.

Defense still needs a lot of work but this was a much better effort. Kudos to Mikal again for getting on the team early for not running back on defense. It didn't happen again after that. The three point defense needs to get a lot better. Bulls had too many open threes. Giddy is impressive! I'll be shocked if he isn't an All-Star.

I liked how Brown shorten his rotation to 9. Playing 11 is too much! It's a long season and there will be opportunities for Yabu and Kolek to play but right now I like the starters with Hart, Deuce, Clarkson and Shamet off the bench.

Nalod @ 11/3/2025 7:38 AM

Giddy looked like he is fulfiling his promise. Good trade for both teams. Thunder got its chip and Giddey as a prospect is filling it out. Both teams has diffeent needs. Bulls still have Coby white coming back.

Also Steve Novak and Breen got on just fine! I thought Novak for his fist game sounded like he been here for years, very comfortable and knowledgable.
Maybe a good audition for somoene that could be clydes replacement? I also thought Crawford was and is very good. Same for Monica.

I didnt get to watch this game live, but even watching the highlight package you could see Josh wincing and grabbing his hand after several plays. And that was during a GOOD game. Now that we finally know its a nerve issue it explains a lot. Im not sure having another surgery fixes that. This requires a TON of physical therapy. I'm not sure rest is gonna make a difference (though defer tot he doctors). Hopefully its something he learns to adapt to, but it could really be an issue.

I guess this is the vision

ESPN changed how they display boxscores and when I read left to right the new layout is no good to me

Can someone explain how they shoot 47% from 3, but 45% overall? What happened to easy layups, dunks, etc?

They were hot from 3, so no need!

Brunson does do the small things like this and take charges at least. KAT gotta find his niche on D too

5 games in and Brown already shortens the rotation to 9 like Thibs.

Gotta say not liking what I'm seeing from Yabu or Clarkson and especially KAT. Count how many times KAT drives into defenders and goes flailing out of bounds, completely taking himself out of the play and allowing the other team to score. Not seeing it with him and he looks slower than ever guarding outside the paint. Vuc looked like the better overall player these past 2 games, higher IQ, more in control, and making about 1/3rd what KAT does.

we have a good chance to do some damage this year. But we really could have built something with the youth we had. Randle, Grimes, RJ and Divo all balling out elsewhere. Had we kept those 4 guys, and kept the 5 picks from the Mikal trade, we could have even traded for Giannis.

Won't disagree with anything you've said but for me, it was iHart who was central to a lot of the good play in the previous version of the Knicks. Without him, it's still a lesser version.

Haven't watched this game yet, or have a good understanding of what the offense should be, but this feels right in what Brown wants to do.

I think this is what it should be, but quicker. Kinda looked like the guys were still thinking it too much.

That's a big part of the Pace part we heard about in the preseason, not just necessarily getting into transition. Moving in and out of these actions faster, especially in the half court sets

So nice, gotta post it twice

Was listening to S Bondy I think on KFTV and he said on Yabu "for those folks saying he's overweight - I saw him with his shirt off in the locker room and the guy is absolutely ripped and not overweight at all - just a big man". With a big rear end.

Thoughts through out the league that Bulls were in a position to still squeeze 1 or maybe 2 1st round picks in addition to Giddy from OKC but for whatever reason they failed. Given that OKC didn't want to pay Giddy big $ and Caruso was key finishing piece - seems Bulls missed a chance to not only get Giddy (who does look GREAT) but to grab a few of the stock pile of picks OKC remains sitting on.

Giddy playing great offsets the missed picks but basically all I've ever heard is long time writers/pundits saying how did the Bulls not gets picks when moving Caruso.

Any kind of a hand issue is going to keep getting whopped on in these games - just to physical and too many opportunities for Josh putting the hand in wrong spot, landing funny or opposing players coming down hard on that hand. Will be interesting to see if he can work thru it - me I almost worry more about his ball handling / passing with the finger vs his shooting.

Yes - they are missing White/Dosunmo last night - those 2 will add to the ball flying around for Bulls. I think Heat are doing something similar and don't have Herro who should be dynamic in this type of free flowing fast pace system.

Knicks - despite what I saw last night - the pace seems a stretch for some our personnel and more importantly for some of our skill players abilities.
