I was so happy when I heard about Shamwow! He's been homeless DVo this season and we need him!
I hope the Knicks don't waive him and see how things progress in 4 weeks. I get we need the help but there is something to be said about valuing the players and their contributions. If it were season ending that would be different.
Wonder if the Knicks keep in touch with someone like CJ McCollum.
He’d be a guy I could see the Knicks sending their bitcoin over to Shamet and then cutting for a released McCollum.

Agree. Keep him. We can still get Ws and be competitive while he’s out.
If he is back for the end on the season push or at least for the playoffs I think we gotta keep him
He is nearing!!!This man boxes out too, make no mistake
Shamet continues to be indispensable and probably deserves to start over Hart, given his fit. His point of attack defense and 3pt shooting will be essential to wherever this team goes.
Nice hustle guy off the bench and hits timely 3-pointers.

You forgot his defense which is second to none on this team, him never complaining about anything ( refs included)

Totally agree I love his energy on D. I’d be all for reduced minutes for Mikal and more minutes for Shamet and Diawara— Rose also needs to extend both those guys now.

Yeah, exactly .How many years are we going to wait for Mikal to start playing like a starter? It's been like forever. He can still keep his streak. Off the bench
I like how he's starting to take it to the basket more often! He has decent speed and quickness.

Yeah, I never realized he had that part of the game. Very interesting. If that's the case he is clearly starting material

To be honest he’s basically becoming DiVincenzo 2.0. Not quite the on-ball ability but better defender to balance it out.

yup, actually even scoring more per minute and much more efficiently. better defender but not as good a passer. he's just a guy that needs consistent minutes.

Good take. He is more consistent too
Seems Mike Brown has used Shamet more effectively than Thibs did.

seems like the only guy that is having a better season under Brown. Though TBF he had the benefit of a healthy camp and starting the season healthy. And now Deuce out.
