4-8 from downtown tonight and at some point we are just gonna have to recognize him as Steph Curry with defense. But only for a quarter at time so far.
Back to back quality wins. Love the 3-point shooting tonight.

What's up with him? Can't even get garbage time?
martin wrote:I keep watching Kolek minutes and he seems like he is making his way back into rotation, especially with OG, Shamet out. And he looks decent out there. Definitely not underwhelming, and maybe not super, but not bad either.
Can we still sign someone - Garrison Mathew’s 10-day ended today and wouldn’t mind having him around in place of Landry (short term)?

Seemed to lose all confidence over summer and in pre-season.

Over the last few games he has been contributing in limited minutes. He needs to keep it up so he can be a valuable trade piece at the deadline or to be counted on during the playoffs.
I don’t see it guys — regardless what he claims (he looks heavy to the eyes and in his movement).
Has shown zero moves (zero). Outside of pick and wide open pop and occasional free rim run I’ve seen nothing to be excited about.
This was a guy where Knicks received unanimous praise when we signed him but he’s not shown anything - even past few games.
At a minimum he needs to be able to defend multiple spots or rebound above his size - hasn’t done either or much of anything just yet.

Great activity, all over court defending and in lanes — running floor like a gazelle. Limited in 1/2 court and above the elbows.

Got some Westchester action, shot pretty well but that team is far from good.

Hopefully he has a Deuce revelation. Year 2 so far

Yabu may not work out but he is learning to be a defensive guy cause he has to. Gonna have to be patient with him
Another good win at home! Especially when the Cap didn't shoot it well and KAT still can't hit a three. I wasn't liking this match up without OG but KAT and Mikal both brought it defensively against Barnes and Igram. Mikal's defense on Ingram was probably the best one on one defense we've seen this season. Mikal just had him locked up! I know it's still early but Mikal should be on the All-NBA Defensive 1st team!
I've said it before but we need to keep Josh in the starting lineup. He's just levels up as a starter and I feel the entire team just functions better. He was again outstanding last night and I love he's taking and making that three (4/7) without hesitation! And Mitch off the bench continues to provide his impact on the glass (15 rebounds, 7 offensive in 15 minutes). Rest of the team had 18 offensive rebounds which is insane!!
Have we ever seen a Knicks player improve his shooting from his rookie season to now as much as Deuce? He was on fire in that first quarter and has hit 14 of his 20!
I know it's spilled milk but would've preferred to sign Mamu over Yabu.
I googled Dancing Bear and I found something obscene

His development should be heavily geared towards improving his assertiveness off the dribble. Right now all he does is kind of like Obi where he gets ball on perimeter and quickly looks to hand off and he doesn’t have any of Obi’s talent in terms of leaking out on breaks and alley ooping.
I believe in the skill but worry his confidence has been crushed at some point.
Also he’s not explosive so he needs to get in super condition to hang in this league.

Dadiet seems different in these highlights from yesterday
Cap with a quiet night, 18 points. Still nab the 22 point win over the #2 team in the East. I don't think the Raptors are nearly as good as their record, but until they start losing games regularly, that's a quality win.
I didn't like that we let multiple leads get away, even if part of me was cheering for IQ with his big 3rd quarter.
Hart&Soul is really on a heater right now.
Let's do it again in a week.

Might be why my step sister didn't like her birthday present...
