I myself don't think knicks need to do this 20 games in. If they think they can take it all, then there is a process and it must play out.
I did not expect if there as a departure from last year its no going to be seen in the first 20 games. If they are dilligent in a process then it must be given time. We all know there is not guarantee a process executes as hoped.
I don't know what leverage he has given he has one more year then a player option 62mm after. So he can be traded anywhere.
Also, what do they want in return? Its a good time for them to make a trade and rebuild as a franchise. So I don't agree its a "Nightmare" situation as depicted. Its just good business. It should be mutual but what Bucks want and what is offered likely needs a third team if he is to be made happy.
Im always down for a sugar buzz type trade and love the starphuch aspect of it!

Giannis is the big get that puts us right there with OKC. If you can flip KAT + assets for him you gotta do it 100%.
Giannis with either Mikal or OG would be nasty defensively, and we might even be able to have all 3.

Brunson / Hart for Giannis works straight up. The numbers are surprisingly accurate.
I know “play with Brunson” is the media claim, but for me Bridges / OG / Giannis is the best trio you can end up with in a Giannis based team.
I value guys that play both sides of the ball much higher than anything. I think the sport fundamentally undervalues guys like OG and Mikal.

Lakers probably get him by offering Gabe Vincent and Bronny. 
If this was Luka or Any top 5 under 26, I would have said give them anything they want.
But Knicks want to win now. Greek Freak needs lots of shooters. And Bucks want picks.
Looks like it would be Towns to keep Bucks competitive. Knicks don’t have many expiring deals if they want to clear cap. Not many picks. So thinking Knicks may not be the best for Milwaukee.
Unless Greek says it’s Knicks only.

Trading Brunson for Giannis defeats the purpose. But even if it didn't, Brunson is probably the most untouchable player in the NBA. He IS the franchise, he's not going anywhere. Can't believe that even needs to be said after decades of trying to get a legit franchise player like him in his prime.
How do the Knicks get in on this and come away with iHart and whatnot?
KAT, Mitch, Deuce, Dadiet for Giannis, Kuzma works contract wise. Give them our 1st round pick and WAS pick also.
The only thing that gives me pause is losing Big Mitch

This trade is unsuccessful until you add Mitch to the Bucks. Interestingly, the trade machine says that this trade does not affect our win totals.

The 90s called and want their Iverson-esque logic back. This is just antiquated logic based in emotion. It only defeats the purpose if the purpose is to starphuch the team. You don’t put more pressure on the defense today with multiple ball dominant players. You put pressure on the defense by spreading the floor while dominating the paint. Brunson is lovely. Love him. Love to cheer for him. Wear his jersey. But he is a liability on defense. You can’t disprove that. GA is 2 years older? More injury prone. But I doubt Brunson’s body can withstand the punishment he takes every night.
Objectively speaking, any front office would want to build around Giannis over Brunson. It’s not Brunson-hate. It’s just common sense. A 7 foot athletic freak two way player or a 6’2 offensive marvel with amazing footwork/fakes. I am not hoping to trade him and there are very few players I would entertain this conversation on, but Giannis is one of them.
