He was passive tonight but this particular game could just be a blip on a back-back, traveling after playing heavy minutes last night.

He was just sloppy and seemed refs could not wait to blow whistle on him.

Anyone else see the Maxey running travel from top of the key all the way for a bucket late in the 4th -- I mean the traveling in this league is crazy --- particularly the pivot foot movement along with the catch the ball take 4 steps before dribbling stuff.

League doesn't care - guess I shouldn't but it just blurs the lines of what is and isn't a violation.

We suck again.

Was wondering when the dud was coming - assumed last night but we got lucky in Indy.

Tonight just mostly felt like a scrimmage with little regard for committing TO's and/or stopping the dribble.

OG was killing me tonight with the ball.

3 games in 4 nights. It showed. They were a step late on loose balls other than Mitch boarding under the rim and that was the most short shots I've seen this season, clearly a sign of fatigue and hangovers. They were all throwing the ball away, not just Kolek. Clarke's turnovers were even worse and Brunson was looking burnt out by the end of the game.

At least Mitch buried the Hack-A-Mitch strategy. 7 out of 8 from the line. That was unexpected.

One lingering question though:

how are you supposed to pay attention to Blake, Nash and Haslem talking ball when Taylor Rooks is sharing the screen with them?

Tough watch. Tired legs and sloppy passes. Philly brought more energy. What a night for MitchBeast, though. His FT shooting was fantastic.

WTF? Mitch went 7 of 8 from the field and 7 of 8 from the stripe? 21 points???? What gives?

If this game ends up being the one where Mitch starts to be involved in the offense and hits his free throws, I don't mind the loss

Schedule loss. Hopefully it's a learning lesson for Adam Silver and the league cause it wasn't fair for the Cup winners to have to play back to back with just a day off. We didn't have it in the 4th and the Sixers had 4 days off but give them credit. Maxey and Edgecombe were terrific! Edgecombe kind of reminds me of Spree. Sixers would be scary if Embiid didn't pussy out every other game. What a wuss that guy has become!

Hats off to Mitch! I never thought he could hit 7 FT's in a row! Ended up with a season high 21 points and 26 minutes! Probably and most likely a fluke and we'll never see it again but I'm happy for him and hope he can hit at least 60% from there in the playoffs.

OG and the Cap had off games. Combined 8/31 and 24 points isn't going to get it done. Kolek came back to earth and struggled too. Had some really bad turnovers and Philly was targeting him on defense. Expect teams to start doing the same so Kolek needs to be ready and do better. Bad games happen, especially with younger players so it's nothing new. Let's see how he responds. I think he'll be fine.

Lisa Ann is not my lover. The kid is not my son.

OG is the one player specifically who loses all coordination when he is exhausted. Once he reaches that level of tiredness he actually becomes kind of useless.

This is something a coach has to recognize. Thibs never did. Now it is Brown's turn.

After last night - pound for pound, inch for inch Andre Drummond now greatest shooting big man in NBA history with 3 of 4 from 3.

Kat distant 2nd.
