if you're starting a team, does anyone really take KAT over Ihart? especially this version? the whining isn't getting better unfortunately its getting worse. It really makes watching this team difficult in the way that Randle or Marbury moping around did.

Yes you do, cause you can trade with extras for Giannis. You can't with iHart, or at least the extras are in completely different levels.
iHart is one of my most fav high level role players, but he is not a guy you start to build around. He is a guy you add to a really good core who plays a very unique role that makes everyone around him better, doesn't need touches on offense but when he does he thrives, and plays really good defense when in combo with others who do the same.
He is not an "island" guy who is either the center of offense or defense by himself in the way others are and can be, he is an incredible additive guy that makes the right people MUCH better around him.
That said, I'd rather have iHart and DDV extras on team than KAT.

Giannis is on another planet than KAT, if we end up moving KAT + assets for Giannis, it won't be because that's his value or what MIL wants. It will more likely be b/c this is where Giannis wants to be and MIL is doing right by him.

Think it's easier to trade iHart and whatnot than KAT and whatnot? Every franchise out there starts with a KAT over iHart and iHart's mom and dad would agree with that too.
This is going to be strike one for Towns, in my book. Not the bad game, that can happen to anyone .Its his reaction. During the interview after this game Towns said" Different system, it's just different." when asked about why he sucked. So instead of accepting the responsibility he said that stuff. Meaning he is perfect and can do no wrong. It's the fking system. GTFO of here with that attitude

KAT is avg 22 and 12. I have not seen the last three games and seems he is back to whining again? For a while he was more chill and focused. For a while his defense was solid. And we were not in a losing streak! Behind the scenes if KAT wants out thats another story. If he an coach are going thru some growing pains perhaps where they are matters in the process?

Its not all on KAT is it? KAT by saying he is uncomfortable is taking on some of the blame? WE dont' expect him to flat out say he sucks. He is uncomfortable and from what we are reading they worked it out, but still issues on the court to execute.
What I want to know is can they get to a place where its back to where it was for a while and they are in synch. If Kat is asked to do more grunt work what is exactly the issue here? You extract him and "Other pieces" you damn well better be sure Giannis will do the grunt work, the spacing is productive (He not a good long range shooter), and hope he can play most games. How does he play with Mitch? Will he have room to work in the paint? Speaking of mitch, is he holding back so he can stay healthy for his pending free agency or are knicks trying to trade him?
Someone said the team looked like a big trade was about to go down. Thats a fair excuse for that piss poor play. Don't we all love want to be the one with forsight to predict such things. some derivative of a Kat-Giannis would be quite the mid season trade!
Improbable for many reasons and perhaps more so after the season? That Gave KAT two years here with two coaches? But if he and Coach have a unfixable riff then those odds go up.
What is going on? Perhaps a bit of what everyone is saying? Rumors? Innuendos? Growing pains? A team that came together and the league figured a few things out?
