We have shooters. Games like this are very good for Brunson. It was one of his best efforts as a PG this season.
When his shot is not falling this is what I want to see from him.
Also, he played solid defense tonight. Good Captainish game tonight. Mentor Kolek very proud
He and Shamet can fight for the vet min spot
Nice game - was worried early as we were not capitalizing on some opportunities and was waiting on refs to hand Lakers game.
You see the energy ramp up in the 3rd as our wings were extending pressure heavily, going hard over screens and playing the passing lanes.
Kat with another calm game without many mental lapses, making nice passes, taking solid shots and rebounding like a man. Let's not forget that Kat is leading the NBA in rebounding while still sitting at roughly 20 PPG - sometimes guy is only guy on defensive glass and it's rare he doesn't snatch ball when its in his orbit.
Thought Kolek sparked us some, Shamet big down the stretch, Hart one of his best games of year, OG one of his best of the year.
Mikal MIA - with 0-6 from 3, zero FT attempts, zero rebounds and benched down the stretch.
Nice to win.

Nuggets are also on a road back-back the night we play them - they have to go to Detroit Tue and NY on Wed - not to mention playing OKC tonight (at home).

Exactly. If Mikal wasn’t cold from 3 it’d be a blowout.
It's always nice to beat the Lakers - especially now that they have Doncic. Great boost off the bench by Shamet.
Great win … these are games we should win. Shamet crushed off the bench, we are learning how to win without our big two in Kat and Brunson having to put up big point numbers… OG has been on point during this win streak looking like a star . Kolek again got the ball moving so important for our chemistry and getting everyone involved. Josh has taken his game to a different level now that he’s hitting 3s at a 40% clip.
I really don’t want to see any big moves till the offseason… I think if Kat is still on the team after the trade deadline we will see KAT attack come alive .

OG was playing like this to start the season, then had to sit out some games, and now he looks like a first team All-Star again.
Should there ever be a decision to trade either wing it would be Mikal sent. I think the FO would agree with me that OG is key to being a contender.
Hart, Brunson and OG are the heart of this team.
Knicks ~6th best record in league.
Knicks 7th in Offensive PPG
Knicks 6th in Defensive PPG
Knicks 5th in Point Differential
Knicks PRETTY...PRETTY...PRETTY...GOOD.

Excellent news.
This is the kind of stuff we never saw happen under Thibs.
A good coach empowers the coaches under him to fix the team.
Here's the crew:

Yessir
Often times when you really bring the effort on D -- the first thing to go is your touch/legs on offense.
I did notice his extra effort defensively tonight (that's nice) but it could come with some downside on offense. We may be seeing a bit of that with Kat as well but think he's more mental.

Agreed … would love to get an impact 4 off the bench for Yabusele and Clarkson .
