I have gotten over my distain for KG and appreciate his personality post playing days.
Pierce? Not yet!

Not me. Both guys are douches, as far as I am concerned

Nice listen from the New Orleans side

Didn't catch the Boston game, but was unimpressed with Alvarado tonight. He might be pressing... or is he always pressing?

He had a couple of nice moments with a nice PnR to Huk and some solid D, but he really didn't know what to do with the ball most of the time.

He was often picking up his dribble too early and would be leaning off balance looking for someone to take the ball from him.

I expect he'll get better, but he is not yet the upgrade over Kolek some were claiming.

Panos @ 2/11/2026 10:16 AM
He's worth more to this team than Yabu was, but I'm not overly excited by him. Hope he changes my mind.

i'll reserve judgement until he actually learns the system. The same system that took the other players weeks to learn at the start of the season.

KAT still figuring it out. And Brunson still trying to figure out how to get KAT involved.

Kolek > Alvarado

Kolek gives this team exactly what we are missing for Browns offense - crisp passing with a purpose. Towns does it to a much lesser degree and as for Brunson, he has been doing more of it recently. Without taking advantage of passing and assists we aren't winning anything

Alarado is an energy guy.

Knixkik @ 2/11/2026 3:27 PM
The problem is Kolek struggles against ball pressure. In the playoffs that will be constant. Jose doesn’t know the offense yet but he can get by people. He can get into a set and he can drive to the hoop. Kolek is a great ball mover but can’t break down a defense. Plus Jose is a constant on defense. I like kolek but he’s not there yet on either end.

In the playoffs every backup guard is going to press Kolek full court and he will struggle to get the ball up the court. That’s the issue with him right now.

Alvarado looks like an absolute game-changer right now. He won’t shoot like this all of the time, but the chaotic energy was very much needed on this team.
martin @ 2/12/2026 10:47 AM
And hopefully these numbers continue to head in the right direction with the addition of Alvarado and Kolek too

Thank you, Malcolm Brogdan, for not taking up a roster spot.
Panos @ 2/23/2026 2:38 PM
I'm seeing Alvarado is going to eat into Brickage's minutes. He is getting time on the court with JB which makes a lot of sense.

I dunno dude. Feel like you misread stats and lace them with emotion. Bridges has a .600 TS% this year. Plays solid defense. His 50% FG% is second on the team only to Mitch Robinson. What is he doing wrong that you dislike him?

One starts their day with Honey Nut Cheerios and the other one downs a bottle of Mad Dog 40/40 for Breakfast
