It is weird considering MO did multiple excellent things in the few seconds he was on the court
How does Sochan move ahead of him?
Didn’t their minutes overlap and both got only 4 total? Neither seems to be taking any minutes
Every game

I meant it is weird that Mo would step on the court, do something sensational and them immediately be sat down. 2 Minutes per half does not compute

Front office management, probably.
Don’t think the Knicks expected him to be ready to contribute this early and with no contract secured, they are trying to hide him but he’s making it difficult.
At this point, he really looks like a better mix with the starters than Bridges, who seems to kinda come alive late. I’d start Brun, Shamet, OG, Diawara and Towns and would definitely manage the minutes to still get Hart and Bridges involved, but the starting lineup issue is back for third quarters.
I could be wrong about Diawara but I don't think another team will make a serious attempt to get him from the Knicks. Not because he isn't a prospect but because other teams also have prospects and/or incoming picks. Teams managing salary caps and developing their own promising g league, draft picks, and two way players may be their focus. Knicks will likely expose a few players for the expansion draft and Dadiet may be drafted away leaving Diawara that contract slot and first round pick guaranteed money slot available. I could be wrong.
Fun comeback but something is very much off with this team.

It's pretty clear.... too much micro-managing. If you need to get your lineups and minutes approved before game, how do you tinker during game?

All it takes is one team to make an offer. He’s RFA so we can match but Rose will be doing some serious manuevering next 2 years to avoid the second apron. If the Knicks extend him now 3 years at reasonable money that might help

Oh yes, I read it wrong.
I’ll understand Sochan’s minutes when he is trying to slow guys down one on one, that’s just playoff prep.
Did anyone catch a mistake by Mo? Gotta be that, it’s happened many times over.
Brown had some weird/questionable sub decisions throughout...but, give him credit for playing Jose down the stretch...his defensive instincts were just as important as Brunsons offensive surge late in the game.
Durant f’ed up big time down the stretch.
This is an easy read to Thompson.
And then OG picked him after.
That felt like a playoff game. Hate that we got down 18 at home but you have to admire the resiliency to come back! Houston is one of the better teams in the league and their defense is elite. But so was our defense in the 4th quarter! Rockets had 9 turnovers and we held KD to 2/7 and 3 turnovers! We outscored them 33-15 in the 4th!
GTA5 changed the game. His competitiveness and energy were contagious! Those 2 back to back steals were so good! And that layup in transition where I still have no clue how he was able to get off that shot! Another grade trade by Leon at the deadline! Alvarado is a dawg!!!
Hats off to the Cap! Struggled shooting but turned it up when it was needed. A perfect 4/4 in the 4th including the go ahead shot! I also loved his defense taking 3 charges.
This is exactly how we should use KAT going forward! Give him the ball low in the post! He's not Tim Duncan down there but he can definitely score! Loved how we got him 3 shots early in the game and got him going. His defense on Sengun was also really good. This was actually one of KAT's best games on defense this season. He played smart and avoided the silly fouls. OG had a good bounce back game too with 20 and had 4 steals too! Mikal was alright. Had that clutch putback dunk off the GTA5 missed layup in transition. Kudos to Brown for finishing the game with GTA5 over Mikal. That's one thing I really like about him. He will finish games with the best lineup regardless of seniority or status. Josh had a meh game. Got beat to rebounds and made some dumb turnovers. Also passed up some open shots which irritates the hell out of me! He's shooting 40% from three this season so just let it fly!!
Brunson showing why he's an MVP... hope this was the game that gets KAT going, we need him.
Great comeback. Team could have easily folded.
Jose a plus 19 was big. Making guys better.
Better ball movement early in the game but gone most of third quarter.
Shamet was big going to hoop.
Towns more aggressive with a noticeable attempt to get him the ball.
OG bounce back
Worst lineup was one with MR, JB and Hart in. Combined -43
Just hoping for more consistency with play and effort from ALL our guys.
Knicks formula should be highlighting KAT or having him the 1A guy for 3+ quarters with guys finding their way around him.
And then Brunson should own the 4th.
Should be that hard?
Opponents hunt Jalen and KAT, Knicks do the same to them

So where does Tim Duncan (who has more rings than Shaq and just as many as Kobe) fit into this theory Barkley has? Where does Steph Curry fit?
I was seated in the Chase Bridge for this game and when Brunson made that shot over Eason to give the Knicks their first lead of the second half the bridge started shaking from everyone jumping up and down.
