OG had an extra beat on that shot. Can't blame him for rushing it a bit, but damn
OG!!!!! You have to make that!
Brightside, we lost by a bucket with 2 shots to tie vs the OKC refs. I'm proud our guys fought til the end.
P.S. I am, however, tired of KAT doubling, the ball swinging, and finding his man wide open for a 3 or a dunk. At least JB takes charges, KAT's D is a killer.
That hurt! Should've won this one!!
Somebody please explain why…..
- Mo always quick hook while Mikal ringing up 40 minutes
- Uptempo stops immediately with Brunson
- Brunson 15 assists BUT did he find Kat all night? Maybe I missed.
- Kat 8 shots and 1/2 those might have been off offensive glass
- Josh sucked again tonight —- don’t care about any stats his defensive awareness off ball is just badminton
Whenever you see OG or Mikal dribbling it’s NOT GOOD
GREAT effort just too much ball pounding and an inability to put ball in basket
Kat a -17 and I thought he was great on both ends - save for a couple of slow rotations
We didn't lose this because of the refs. Caruso got knocked out of the game on a shot to the head with nothing called. Had a couple of close calls gone the other way, things might have been different. If Brunson plays his normal game same thing. Bottom line SGA made a three with the game in the balance and we didn't. Good effort but came up short.
OG 6-17
Mikal 6-17
Jalen 5-18
That about tells story and once again we leave 8 free throw misses on court —- miss way too many almost feels like we go Mitch 1 for 2 85% of trips

3 keys for me....
- limit Jalen getting the ball up the court (use other methods)
- Mikal or OG have to have big offensive game (1 or the other or preferably both)
- play with more force than they do (want to see <100 again and everyone swarming/rotating like micro-waves)
I went down a rabbit hole and got distracted

That startled me.
My hopes were so high when I first saw this
Refs will miss or ignore 100 fouls each game but they never miss one on Kat —-every ref waiting to blow whistle against Kat

Mikal trying to go right off the dribble like me trying to run 4.3 forty
Missed 6 FTs in a game Mitch didn't play. Hit one more and that last possession is completely different.

Jose offensive confidence seems to come/go quickly and he’s certainly not a pure PG in the 1/2 court —— just limited to going right and often sticks standing with ball 3 point line extended.
Must say though when Kolek entered Raptor game last night he looked 5’8” to me —- literally shrinking away on bench
BlueKnickers wrote:Seriously, Brunson's passing right now is truly awful. I'm almost shocked
Yep - tons of deflections and or hesitation until he has enough room —- not his fault but we need to get him off ball more.
Hard to do when Josh is not sharp and afraid to go small backcourt.

Caruso made about 5 or 6 hustle plays that went Thunder way - big impact with barely a bucket
We also didn't win this because of the refs. We are the home team and have earned respect, yet we never get it. They missed fouls on him, too. What close calls did we get? What challenges did we win? Closer calls, not even the homecourt advantage, and we do win this game. We got killed in the first half, with super late whistles.

3 extra points, 3rd foul not called in first quarter
Credit OKC For really executing their defense.
For sure they got home cooking on the road. "Room Service"!
MVP gets you that.
They earned that shit.
Credit OKC with great defense. Yes, we shot poor and Brunson was out of sorts. Thats becuse they kept him off!
I'll take that loss. We went toe to toe with them. They are the benchmark for now.
I take what KAT gave us. He was brilliant tonote save for two bad fouls.
OG missed some shots but he was great thru the game. Loved his block on Chet from teh 3. That in traffic Dunk? Yes, it was sick! He was clutch except in the end. He had the line but obviously rushed it and off balance.
Closers don't always close. In fact more times than not.

You're not wrong
Kolek is actually 4'6" but he looks larger due to mirrors and a high dribble
