Also, PROPS to OG
Magnificent Game
I said a few games ago to never underestimate the importance of OG to this offense.
I stand by that. He had to recover from his injury.
He was a demon to start the season just like he was tonight
Imagine we got this OG every game --- looked like a young Kawhi.
He was all over the place, 0 TO's and not sure if he fell or not tonight.
Also - MY HEART BE STILL PACOME
I am glad Brunson is starting to find mitch because that was the one part of his game he needs to improve on to make offense easier. Once he finds Mitch on lobs more often teams won't be able to double or pressure him as much. It's what makes Luka amazing on offense. You crowd him he will always find the big for an easy dunk.

Didn't OG go for +40 last year in Denver or year before?

Pacome looking like mix of KD & The Predator.

Ya and moves pretty well too.
Prob still a year and a half from being solid but he looks the part. Looks like a big SG to me who can keep up on defensive side.
It’s bonkers to me how good the defense has been recently, and this is against some of the best offenses in the league.

1. Denver
2. Boston
3. Knicks
4. Cleveland
6. Spurs
7. Rockets
Last ~10 games
Boston, Cavs, Rockets, Spurs, OKC, Denver.
Stinker against Cavs but Knicks held every other team well below their norm.
Knicks looking very much the part of a contender right now. KAT is making an impact every night, Jalen is a floor general. Wings are producing. Full rotation seems really settled and strong.

IMO, SA was by far the biggest win thus far. We match up with Denver very well.
SA, OKC, BOS and DET are going the be the real test cases heading to the playoffs. We could face any of them in the playoffs.
Denver is not going to the finals this year, but if they did we would smoke them. The others are not as easy as this.
Nuggets absolutely could come out of the West. Right now their first round matchup is with the choke artist rockets. They would potentially face OKC second round which would be the real WCF.

Something happened and Kat locked in (far more than he was pre-Feb or pre-All Star).
Plus Alvarado - he immediately is a pest. Murray did not like him pestering him last night in 2nd (as an example) - throw in Mo more playing time and his length/movement/aggression starting to show.
I guess it's contagious because you also (for most part) haven't seen Jalen getting killed and he's on the spot for so many charges.

Good point about Alvarado he has taken over the role of Deuce off the bench and really even upgraded it. Instant energy on D.
KAT is a matchup problem on offense. Most teams even the elite teams are designed to play small ball spacing and pacing and they can’t defend KAT in the paint without a double team and fouling.
OG is really good at basketball.

Boston Win 111-89, Cavs Loss 94-109, Rockets Win 108-106, Spurs Win 114-89, OKC Loss 100-103, Denver Win 142-103
Really good defense.
OG Don't always have to have the offensive output to be "great".
This is who he is most nights, but tonite the offense was on display.
The reverse dunk was awesome!
More than most nights, he was "DEMONIC"!
He embodies the best of knick eras in one.
To Denvers credit, they fell apart when Murray came out.
Tell Pano's he can come back. Its ok.
We almost held another team to under 100 points (103 points, 20% from three)and outrebounded them 51-30!

Defense and rebounding are the identity and recipe for success! When we lock in and do these, we are tough to beat and we can beat ANYONE! OG is to Denver as Mikal is to San Antonio. For some reason they just go to an extra gear when they play those teams. OG was awesome last night! I hope it's safe to say the toe issue and mini slump are over cause he looked great. Loved how the game started with Mitch getting 3 alley's! KAT was solid once again. I love how he's now getting post up opportunities and he's been responding. Cap is a shooting slump but he's done an excellent job of running the team and finished with 15 assists! Birthday boy also played well and hit 2 threes which is a great sign cause we're going to need him shooting at a high clip against Cleveland or Boston in the 2nd round. And good to see Dadiet finally good like an NBA player. Kolek with 8 assists in 8 minutes. I miss seeing him play. I don't think GTA5 has been anything special the last few games.
As far as Tatum returning, good for him. I have nothing but respect for that guy. He doesn't trigger me like Trae Young or Haliburton or Embiid. Tatum doesn't troll when he plays. Boston should def now be considered the favorites in the East cause they've done it before and they do have the best team on paper and a terrific coach. They will be a tough out but we did before and we can do it again. We got to get there first! And you saw what happened to Murray last night. We have to hope and pray we don't have bad luck and lose a key guy. We're going to need all hands on deck.
