We almost held another team to under 100 points (103 points, 20% from three)and outrebounded them 51-30! Defense and rebounding are the identity and recipe for success! When we lock in and do these, we are tough to beat and we can beat ANYONE! OG is to Denver as Mikal is to San Antonio. For some reason they just go to an extra gear when they play those teams. OG was awesome last night! I hope it's safe to say the toe issue and mini slump are over cause he looked great. Loved how the game started with Mitch getting 3 alley's! KAT was solid once again. I love how he's now getting post up opportunities and he's been responding. Cap is a shooting slump but he's done an excellent job of running the team and finished with 15 assists! Birthday boy also played well and hit 2 threes which is a great sign cause we're going to need him shooting at a high clip against Cleveland or Boston in the 2nd round. And good to see Dadiet finally good like an NBA player. Kolek with 8 assists in 8 minutes. I miss seeing him play. I don't think GTA5 has been anything special the last few games.

As far as Tatum returning, good for him. I have nothing but respect for that guy. He doesn't trigger me like Trae Young or Haliburton or Embiid. Tatum doesn't troll when he plays. Boston should def now be considered the favorites in the East cause they've done it before and they do have the best team on paper and a terrific coach. They will be a tough out but we did before and we can do it again. We got to get there first! And you saw what happened to Murray last night. We have to hope and pray we don't have bad luck and lose a key guy. We're going to need all hands on deck.

Tatum makes them formitable but whats obvious Brown has emerged without the shadow of Tatum and to many suprised they have succeeded. Are they better with him? Sure. There is a bit of a chmeistry thing with those two. I know they won a chip, and perhaps unfair to say "Just one?", but.....one plus one is more, but for teams to really excell one plus one need to equal "Three". Not sure those two do that.

While Brown has historically annoying (Not even close to the level of Pierce!) that uniform never gives me good feelings. Truth is being an NBA fan for 55 years I'm kind of done with "Hate". Too many years of lack of success kind of knocked that kind of fandom out of me.

Thus I might hate what Celtics can do, but not the players doing it.

so in the end Cav's and Celtics got improved and now its a 4 team trajectory with maybe CLT as still a dark horse as they are fucking up teams these days. Im gonna have to find some tickets and get to that game on the 26th of this month.

Our last few games of the seaosn might have some playoff implications more than thought. Raptors and CLT are not pushovers!

I missed it the first go around but after Dadiet made his third 3, Clarkson was bringing the ball up the court and made sure the next possession was about PAC getting the ball for him to do something with it. Missed a baseline 15 foot jumper but it looked nice.

Good gesture by the vet too.

IMO, SA was by far the biggest win thus far. We match up with Denver very well.

SA, OKC, BOS and DET are going the be the real test cases heading to the playoffs. We could face any of them in the playoffs.

Denver is not going to the finals this year, but if they did we would smoke them. The others are not as easy as this.

Nuggets absolutely could come out of the West. Right now their first round matchup is with the choke artist rockets. They would potentially face OKC second round which would be the real WCF.

They could if their matchups are perfect, but I don't think they will beat SA or OKC in a 7 game series.

If they somehow did make it to the finals, I'd say Denver would be our easiest path to a championship

The two keys to turning the Knicks into a contender was KAT playing D with less dumb fouls and whining plus Brunson being a better floor general.

Both are happening so now they are a contender.

One by-product for KAT is a cleaned-up offensive game with better looks, less reckless charging into the rim, better integration into the offense and greater efficiency overall. The by-product of that by-product is it will unlock KAT's passing game more.

Minny is quietly getting its shit together. Might make it harder for one or the other?

What is notable about most of those assists are they are basic passes, nothing sensational, even the lobs to Mitch.

What that says to me is Brunson is surrounded by guys who deserve to be fed and it is not that hard to feed them.

It also says if he can rack up 15 assists that easily then he is passing more in spots he used to go ISO instead of looking for a teammate.

This is how it should be IMO. Brunson should be close to a league leader in assists due to the collection of able shooters around him with a lower PPG average himself.

These assists are the same thing that Kolek does, make basic fundamental passes in rhythm which gets the recipient a clean look.

Now I would like to see Brunson continue to expand his PnR passing and to keep those lobs passes coming.

I see that. That said, Brunson his using his body to shield the pass decision from his defender a lot and the pass is discrete. Not a ton of motion. Catching the off ball movement and getting guys downhill.

Teen Wolf LMFAO

I just gave you 100 points for that one. Don't spend it all at once

I love basic PG skills on display. Such a nice reel of getting the job done with no flourishes. He's our blue collar PG

Look for Kolek to show up in the rotation at some point later in this season and in the playoffs. Brown has got to realize he is a better distributor than Alvarado.

Jose is a great energy guy and defensive pest that we need, but we will also need Kolek's steady hand at other times. Brown needs to show the discretion to use both of them at key times

Tyler Murray has that classic announcer voice

Sometimes I think I'm listening to Marv again. He has that vibe

I enjoyed listening to him.

Monica can be good, but sometimes I don't appreciate the way her ego gets in the way. The time I saw her disrespect Bill Pidto really turned me off. And a couple of seasons she was drunk on the air which was not a good look. But otherwise, she can bring some good observations to the mix.

You're basing that off regular season games.
Meanwhile, Detroit is saying the same about Knicks (but 2024-25 Knicks say hello)

I find it amazing how Kat can face guys up and go by them - often times guys who are way smaller...just a great (long) first step.

Last night he got ball at the 3 on left wing with A Gordon matched up - all alone. Kat just looks at him, squares him up - goes baseline and dunks.

Mo looks uncomfortable cause his arms are too long and he doesn’t have enough elbow room and just needs to double wrap his arms around the torso or something
