It would help them if they can make a run to get # 2 and see if someone else can knock off the Pistons before the ECF

Sometimes it comes down to matchups

Cavs could beat the pistons in round 2. They are 2-2 head to head and now have Harden.

I put the game on at half time.
brunson was pissed. He lit the fire.
Alvarado was effective and the knicks defense transitioned into some easy layups. They ran them kids out the building.
Worth finding and looking at.
Im not saying GTA is the dream pg but there is a reason FO can't quite put the keys in Koleks hands as back up.
And I get why some are frustrated. I like the kid and perhaps he will rise up and be effective.

As for the Pistons? They are showing some weakness and maybe peaked early? That they got us good one on one is a thing and naturally fans be wary of. Or, Fuck that and bring them on. We won't see them in the first round. Im more scared of Cav's to be honest. They get their shit a bit more together they could be legit. Boston? Vooch has been out and one has to think they got him knowing Tatum likely was to return. That unknown shit got me scared. Glad White is gettin gmore props for his game but lets be honest, they have three really good players if Tatum returns to form in the next month.

While Boston has a much tougher schedule

Somewhat hoping the adjustment back to Tatum could screw up some of the mojo they were getting from all the scrubs playing their hearts out all year.

Also wonder in Knicks minds who they would prefer to avoid most - at least early in the playoffs.

I view ALL 3 of Detroit, Boston and Cleveland as absolute threats to beat us in a series.

Didn't like the Harden add for Cleveland because think he makes them better and game easier for their bigs (who need help)
Don't like having to play Boston after we knocked them out last year (we would have them fighting to the death to avenge last year)

If I think about it long enough I can convince myself we stand best chance against Detroit for really a few reasons.

- they have kicked our ass really bad 3 times (think this puts the pressure on them come playoff time and we will be mentally ready)
- they rely to heavily on Cade (we haven't thrown any special defensive looks at Cade this year)
- I don't trust the perimeter shooting of their non-Cade players in big time playoff moments (kind of like last year thought Hardaway/Beasley would fold in clutch)

I'd say definitely stay away from Boston and yes try to get home court vs them. Cleveland and Detroit may be a toss up to me.

Also - stay the hell away from Hornets.

I went to watch game on Prime (on delay) and rather than start me from beginning game turned on with us down I think it was 36-22.

Went back to beginning and we were obviously not defending. Game seemed to turn with Alvarado/Mitch unit turned up volume on D.

Is Brunson injured or something? and what the hell is happening to Bridges??
