I think the Giannis rumors lit a fire under KAT. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Knicks have had the no. 2 defense since these rumors started or that KATs complaining about fouls almost completely stopped.
KAT loves it in New York. Every press conference he has a different New York logoed jacket. He must have a Batman closet full of them.
The Dame trade didn't work out and the Bucks have been beset by injuries, but I think the real culprit was Doc Rivers. Ben Simmons was all NBA, all Defense and Doc decided to throw him under the bus for making a perfectly reasonable pass.
I am going to go ahead and say it. I HOPE WE DON'T TRADE TOWNS FOR THE GREEK
If you are Washington do you offer a pu pu platter of role players and the number one for Giannis and number 10?

Of course you do. Gianni's is a proven commodity while number ones fail all the time. By fail I mean you expect a superstar player and you get a rotation player

If you're Philly do you offer Embiid and spare parts?

That's what I was thinking too. You might only get two or three years of MVP Giannis but that's still better than 8 of whoever they pick since they already have Trae and Davis in place.
I think if they trade Sarr, Tre Johnson, and DLo it works, so they could sell it as two number one picks. Wizards could keep Coulibaly as a wing defender and be a 3 point shooter away from being a good team.

Why would Milwaukee want any part of Embiid unless Philly totally gutted themselves to compensate for that contract?
And if so, Why would Giannis extend if they can't contend?
Regarding the Wiz and Giannis? Funny, but Davis gets Nola top pick with Zion, Mavs top pick with Flagg, and now Wiz get the top pick! Wiz can do the pick and Davis to cover the money but also has to add something. They have Trae, but after that are they "contending" as per Giannis wish?
The most logical thing I have read is Giannis to Boston and he plays with Tatum and White, Brown to ATL, and ATL sends its chest of goodies to Milwaukee. Something to that effect. Miami really does not have the goods to do the trade and compete and Brooklyn really has no established players to speak of. MPjr? they can offer a compelling package but I don't see a contender there with him.
Embiid, Lillard, Davis........examples of bad contracts becomeing a burden to the team. We had our fair share historically. This new CBA makes it even more trechorous! Get over the apron and stuck is very problematic.
And in the end Lakers get swept and were is Luka? Not fat, but on the bench not able to play when most needed. I not saying they beat the Thunder but that was a pretty good team they put together this year. Luka sustained an 8 week injury. Thats two months!!!
Rui shot 57% in 10 playoff games this year. Career? .516% in 41 career playoff games. He steps it up in the post season!

No team will want Embiid unless they need a very large expiring contract in his final year and even then that's very unlikely at that number.
Embiid's future is bleak with small bursts of production followed by even more physical decline.
Someday you'll be able to walk into a Philadelphia pawnshop and find Embiid body parts at a discount.
Philly is fckd

I remember a couple years ago most trade scenarios on this site involved a trade for Embiid.

Yes, He was on his way to an MVP and was a top 3 player. Former Leon client so naturally we did the thing where we all thought he'd ask out of Philly! After all, for sure he'd get tired of losing! LOL......
In the world of fanatics we extroplate the present into the future. Its why two weeks ago we wrote the knicks off for dead.
Now we revel in the possibilities as a certainty!
The Chinese name for Giannis is Alphabet Brother.
If you are Boston, you have to entertain one of Brown/Tatum for Giannis?
Boston just went 56-26 for the second seed in East without Tatum and imagine Giannis in his spot within that 56 win team?

Yeah, kicking out to all those 3 point shooters was hoe he won a Championship last time, if I am not mistaken

You calling Giannis a ho?
The Mullet has an opinion
I don't understand the chatter about Brown for Giannis. I would trade Tatum before Brown. Brown proved how good he is this year, and he's a much cleaner fit with Giannis than Tatum is.
Giannis again. How many of you guys want him and at what cost? I am out on him but, a sensible trade would perk my interest. I just don't see it from MIL perspective. Hopefully we win the chip and then I won't care ever again what this team does.
