14 to 32 free throws. Guess which team has which
BlueKnickers @ 3/29/2026 9:55 PM
Alvarado is hurting the team

Losing confidence in Brown's judgment

NardDogNation @ 3/29/2026 9:57 PM
Why take Towns out? He's rolling!
MaTT4281 @ 3/29/2026 10:01 PM
Didn't ihart get possession after the Towns tip?
markvmc @ 3/29/2026 10:05 PM
How was that challenge not successful? Was it out before Towns touched it?
HofstraBBall @ 3/29/2026 10:08 PM
Good thing we stopped posting up KAT and gave the ball back to JB to dribble.
HofstraBBall @ 3/29/2026 10:10 PM
Waiting for this new Coach Brown ball movement offense to kick in.
fitzfarm @ 3/29/2026 10:16 PM
Man Jose has to take a seat to Kolek we need his passing to get the second unit rolling … we should have been pounding the ball into towns all game…

Also still blown away we fired thibs for mike brown. In my opinion this team was better coached under thibs.

SergioNYK @ 3/29/2026 10:16 PM
Yeah we can't beat that team. Especially if they get 21 more FTs.

Thibs didn't invest in Kolek though and probably wouldn't play him now either

Thibs played the young guys when they were ready and there was a rotation opportunity. Like Deuce.

Yes and No.

Thibs biggest and best move was moving Grimes into the starting line-up after starting the season with a terrible record because Fournier was a lamp post and it saved that season. Thibs was on his way to getting fired if he didn't make that move and it was one of the best decisions he ever made. They went on a run after that with Grimes' defense and shooting in the mix.

Thibs got fired because he wouldn't expand his rotation and only until late in last year's playoffs did he do it after everyone was screaming at him to go deeper into the bench. When he did it helped, but it was already too late.

Thibs did not invest in Kolek. The few times Kolek played outside of garbage time he played really well and Thibs responded by benching him. There was no correlation to the player's performance, just Thibs own internal logic.

The meme that only when they were ready did Thibs play someone is a corny myth. It was only true some of the time. Thibs had his strengths and weaknesses, but one of his immense weaknesses was the inability to make in-game adjustments. His roster changes often took weeks or months to happen due to his rigidity. His substitution patterns were almost always fixed and grew stale and unresponsive to live scenarios. This is why opposing coaches were able to exploit us so much, because Thibs often let mismatches continue due to his stubborn rotation patterns. He was not spontaneous when improvisation was required.
