more on this is coaches look at Hart stats and think it helps but he makes scoring way harder for everyone else because of the way teams defend him. They always fall into that trap.

I have a different theory: they got no one else that’s a better fit. Deuce can bring the 5 out but you lose ball handling, transition buckets, rebounding, a ball mover, etc.

They are not forcing Hart into the lineup, they don’t have a better fit and he’s the next best option.

I agree. I think this is the case. This and not trying to impact the locker room without being sure of a better option.

Never thought I would say this but thank you Lakers.

Nobody is excused from this loss except maybe GTA5 and Clarkson. Everyone else did not do their job. Nobody played with the right energy or focus from the jump and tried to play catch up all game long. And I keep saying these slow starts is mostly on Brown and Brunson. The coach and captain of the team have a responsibility to get the team ready and they both have failed in doing that too many times this season. And on top of that, they both continue to treat KAT like he's Joakim Noah on offense. But we are beating a dead horse cause we've complained all season and it hasn't changed or gotten much better. We see spurts here and there of KAT being featured but for the most part, they (Brown and Brunson) clearly do not respect, treat or see KAT as an All-Star option. And shame on KAT for being content with this!

That's now two awful games in a row shooting the ball from OG. Mikal with one of those "I don't give a shit" games shooting only 4 shots in 34 minutes. And never thought I'd see Mitch in a rebounding slump but he hasn't looked good the last 3-4 games.

This team is just too arrogant with their approach. Like they really act like they can turn on this magical switch before game one of the playoffs in a few weeks and everything will be alright. I don't think it works that way and I keep having this bad feeling we are going to get sent home embarrassed and much earlier than expected.

The team should look at the player passing tendencies. Adjust PT based off who passes to KAT more to increase his shots.

Six games left

I'll skip the regular viewings these last six and watch the morning recaps

If they perk up in the playoffs, great, but I'm otherwise resigned to this team being sent back to the drawing board in the off-season

Let’s keep our chins up.

We’ve seen this Jekyll ans Hyde ream play beautiful basketball for long stretches.

Let’s hope they’re getting whatever it is out of their system. Could be a blessing in disguise reminding the whole organization they need to dial in now

It is good to see him doing well with young talent around him instead of teaming up with veteran stars

Best scorer/shooter I've ever seen - scores more easily than everyone except maybe Jordan and Jabbar.

Chemistry and fit of KAT and Brunson IMHO

I don't know - Hart is definitely part of the problem. He's like a 1960's style Pat Riley playing in a league that demands shooting/scoring -- throw in the fact his D is brutal on most nights and he's part of the problem.

He's amazing, makes it look effortless. I appreciate watching him.

He's a bigger and better version of George Gervin the Iceman if you know who I mean.
