In the minutes I watched, while Hart did do some of his usual goofy sh!t his defense down the stretch was great.

The combo of Deuce/Shamet/Clarkson with Mitch/OG turned the game —- Knicks went from down 4 to up 7 and there was a timeout. Back from commercial and OG is gone with Hart entering the game. Can’t say it was Josh’s fault but Hawks immediately went on 10-0 run.

Kat was brilliant— more he plays like lately with the quick decisions, passing and solid D along with always great defensive rebounding makes me wonder if Giannis would even be worth moving him.

It's these type of games where I wonder if I'm wrong about Brunson and I'm selling him short. Cause only the very best and very elite players can do what he does in the clutch. He wasn't having it at all through three quarters and he just flips a switch and starts cooking and hitting everything in the fourth. That go ahead pull up on McCollum that bounced around like Allan Houston's 1999 shot in Miami was crazy! He's a special SPECIAL player! I especially loved that he FINALLY started running some two man game plays with KAT and it was effective! I'm not expecting them to be Stockton and Malone but you have to run some plays with them! Especially since KAT is a very good passer!
Hats off to KAT! Took over and kept us in the game in that third quarter. Also set the tone in the first and got Mikal some easy shots. Mitch was an absolute monster! 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks in 20 minutes! Hart had some key defensive stops on NAW and Johnson late in the game. OG with his third straight 20 point game.
We got to clean up the defensive lapses. I counted three awful mistakes in the fourth - Hart allowing a Kuminga alley oop at the basket off an inbound pass, Brunson & KAT not communicating and losing McCollum for an easy runner with 2 minutes left, Hart & Mikal not communicating and allowing that late McCollum wide open three with 2.2 secs left. And we cannot have 13 turnovers in the first half and allow 19 offensive rebounds.
Give NAW his flowers! Def should win Most Improved! He was hitting everything! Give that entire Hawks team a ton of credit! They are on their way and thankfully it doesn't seem like we'll end up playing them in the first round unless we completely tank these last three games. Crazy that now 4 teams can end up 6th!

Yeah but Brunson still made all the plays final 3 minutes. JB closes more games than Mariano Rivera
