A healthy Mitch is finally showing what he can do.
In a contract year no less! A deep team like the knicks with him limited to 25 min a game and no back to backs gave him the best chance for this stretch.
His value as a free agent? On paper?
He will give you 60 games. This season avg, 8.8 rebs (half in OFFENSE!), 5.5 pts, 40% from the line. His per 36 would give him a "Mutumbo" type career, perhaps all star nod. But this is his reality.
Who has the money for him and limiting role? He can't play starter minutes and he is a liablity at the foul line.
I hope we can keep him but he has earned his free agency and the compesnation that could come from that.
