Dunno about the lower half, but I predict the Knicks go 2-2 and Cavs 3-1 to tie for third.
Luckily, the Knicks own the tie breaker.

3rd or 4th, I honestly don't care. Just get there healthy. Every team except maybe Toronto will be a hard series anyway and MSG is NOT homecourt advantage in the playoffs as we've seen.

Feel like the 2 teams I'd want the Knicks to avoid are Hornets and Detroit.

I really wished the season ended right now because everything is pretty much perfect for us. Right now we’re matched up with the Raptors in the first round. We have a good chance to gentlemen sweep them. Meanwhile the Celtics would likely face Philly, Embiid could do our dirty work by injuring/ softening their players up for us in the 2nd round. Then Charlotte would pretty much be set to face the Pistons. I think the Hornets are a legit top 5 team, so the Pistons would be getting a 2nd round matchup in the first round. I really think they could upset the Pistons especially if Cade isn’t 100% healthy. The one thing that I give the Hornets credit for is their ability to match the Piston’s physicality. That fight they had with the Pistons early this year is what our Knicks should have done but never did.

Our best pathway to the finals is Raptors (1st rd), Celtics (2nd rd), and Cavs (ECF). If the season ended as is we would have a pretty good shot of that happening. Tonight is key though because the Hawks play the Cavs. If the Cavs lose and we beat the Celtics in our next game, then we clench the 3rd seed I think. So we can just tank the Friday game against Toronto and let the Raptors beat us to lock them in at 6th, but we really need the Hawks to step up and win because if the Cavs win then we’ll have to win that Toronto game to stay at third. Plus we need the Raptors to beat the Heat again tomorrow night as well. Not to mention that we need Philly to lose to the Rockets tonight also.

We have to stay out of the 4 seed. Cavs have 2 games left one against the wizards which is an automatic W. We have three and 2 of the 3 are Celtics and Hornets. Hornets are stuck in the play in so we are not facing them round 1 but the 4th seed means hawks round 1 then pistons round 2.

I keep hearing from the curmudgeons like Mike Francesa that the nba regular season doesn’t matter. Wierd.

Raptors have Markelle Fultz who would be hard to game plan for since he only averages 7 minutes per game
