When I said "Trechery lurks in the lower seeds", it was Boston who got hit. Phily 7 game vs. Boston drained them., then hit with games every other night did them in. Its not fair after the play in the longer schedule in first round beneifts the play in as they can recuperate. Boston had them dead to rights and Embiid had a window and they won.
Im ok with Maxey. It does suck they can't control their own arena but fact is I think the fans are tired of embiid and the albotross that is his contract.

I don't know how good ATL or Philly really is (They beat BOSTON!!!) so its hard to guage how we will do once Detroit or Cleveland emerge. At best the knicks have a week off. They are on such a good roll If I were them I'd be itching to play again and soon! This team is rolling!!!!
Who got next? Im rooting for 7 and I think I'd rather have Detroit. Why? Not sure but for Cleveland to move on they will have had to get by Detroit and perhaps Mobley go his shit together and gave the back court the space to perform. To me Clev has more upside while Detroit I think is at its ceiling.
Bottom line is Knicks are obviously a different team than at certain points of the season but same can be said about Pistons or Cavs. Either can turn on a dime in either direction.
Until then hope they beat themselves into pulp while we bask in afterglow sweep a conf rival!
Knicks making all this "history" in these routs are super fun but my fandom not bing-bonging it.
