...much like Donkey Kong?
I think 76ers are a tougher match up for us than Boston, but the good thing is we now have home court advantage. We just need to win these first two home games and we should be able to get this over in 5-6 games.
Nurse been deploying his best Thibs minutes lineups and going with Grimes and Drummund off bench and practically no one else.

Knicks:
Sixers are a different animal with Embiid playing but I don't think he can last an entire series. Maxey and Edgecomb are fearless and George has turned back the clock a little bit and is shooting the ball well. Oubre and Grimes are solid 3&D role players.
We are a lot deeper and more talented overall and if we play our game and rebound and defend, we should win this series. But if we have a series where we go back to Brunson Iso ball 90% of the time and turn the ball over and lose the rebounding battle and can't defend the three, we can easily lose this series. The mental toughness game is also key cause you KNOW Embiid will try some dirty shit.
But I'll say Knicks in 7.

Philly looked extremely disjointed in the games I watched (6 and 7). It seems like they just out talented an over achieving Boston team. Can they redo the executive of the year award? Holiday to Simons to Vucevic on the bench didn't seem like a winning series of moves. Philly was happy to just dump it in to Embiid and let him go 10-26 for the win. I'm more worried about Maxey George and VJ. I don't think Embiid knows how to play without 50% usage so as long as KAT stays out of foul trouble and Mitchell and Embiid healthy, it should be a 5 game series for New York.
Edgecombe is the wildcard for how effective we are against the Sixers IMO. If he plays like a rookie with a few moments we should be good but if this is his coming out party we could have our hands full. It shifts how much we can use our wings to help with Maxey.

Super high on VJ and I couldn't agree more. +19 in 44 minutes in a game Philly won by 9. So in the 4 minutes he sat, Boston went on a 10-0 run. He was the difference in Game 7.

Played fantasy basketball and drafted VJ with last pick. The reason he has a high plus minus is because he’s the glue guy. Unselfish so he gets assists, high efficiency at the rim, all around good player. He’s their wild card.
BUT
His 3pt shot is hot and cold. And when he has all 3 stars playing, he’s less impactful. His best games all season was when PG and / or Embiid was out. But I like him as a up and coming 2way player. Philly doesn’t deserve to have him.
I still believe Knicks win for several reasons. The Thibs mins is something I didn’t think about but will hurt them in the long run.
If deuce and hart have more good games than bad, it’s an easy win. I’m assuming OG will continue to dominate, along with towns and JB.
Food for thought: Sixers have 4 offensive weapons in the line up. Can Sochan be of useful service in this series to slow some of them down? His reputation is as a Defensive player. I really haven't paid close attention to have an opinion on him.

If nothing else, he's a body we can throw at Embiid if Mitch/KAT get into foul trouble. I trust him more than Huk, but the size discrepancy would hurt in those minutes if Embiid is healthy enough to bang in the post.

He has a hamstring issue!

I don't think he can handle Embid. I'd rather throw Jemison at Embid than Sochan

This. The smart move if you live in Philly is buy up tix then sell to rich f ck Knicks fans on stubhub at a high markup
Then watch the game for free on tv while you count the cheddar.

Jemison Jones and McCullar are 2-way players and not eligible for playoffs.

NYK keeps pounding Philly like weak ass bitches, and there won't be any Philly fans in the stadium either!
