Yeah, that was great. lol

Sloppy game but lucky shirt strikes again.

Hint, Hint

Mike Brown is pretty conservative. He's going to stick with his playoff rotations as long as it's close.

Cmon guys let’s go

I thought that was great coaching by Brown. Saving all those timeouts for the end of the game was a difference maker. 3 timeouts in a row in clutch time to make sure NY got good shots.

Many Knicks had key contributions. Was very satisfying. Overcame adversity

Miles needs to get his head out of his ass and Jose needs to ride pine. Shamet and clarkson were more effective

Og was huge, Jalen clutch and KAT was great when he wasn’t a dummy. Mikal played great d and hit his shots. Josh had a few series where he was scared to shoot but yet again after being hurt he comes in gets key rebounds and deflections and tough d on much longer Paul G

If OG is out for anytime I expect an 8 man rotation with Deuce starting at the 2, Hart and Mikal at forward and Mitch, Jose, and Shamet coming off the bench.

Pissing me off

I know we joke about it a lot, but beginning of the 4th would have been a risk taking, genius level move by Brown that maybe Mazulla or Spoelstra would have pulled off to success for like 5+ min

I thought the play of the game was Oubre fouling Mikal at half court with 1:17 left. The Knicks were about to turn it over up 5, instead they got to reset, Brunson drew a foul and the Knicks went up seven. All the pressure went on Philly to score 3 times quick and get two stops, Knicks just had to run out the clock.

I'm thankful Philly didn't draw out the last 30 seconds fouling. Sorry guys who bet the over and the Knicks.

My first reason was Jose is ass as an actual PG

The second reason was Brunson was choking as a ball handler and the way Brown fixed that earlier was to pair Kolek next to him. He did it to end a number of games, but stopped doing it once Jose arrived. It was an effective solution to Brunson getting swarmed late in the game.

TYLER KOLEK why is he not getting burn with that second unit with Kat and Mikel they would cook with Kolek getting them easy looks

I could eat mystery meat all day long and give you a better guess as to what I was consuming than give you a good answer as to why Mike Brown has our best PG glued to the bench.

Haha and of course I did mean to say that bringing in Kolek at beginning of 4th instead of Jose would be the genius move at that juncture.

Somehow I buried the lead and entire point in my own post

Jose sucked last night but has been great these playoffs and basically was inserted right when our team flipped the script in the ATL series. Bad game yes but no reason at all to take him out of the rotation.

Last night was a trap game. Glad we pulled it out. Philly just went ice cold down the stretch. I wouldn’t even fully credit our defense, they missed a bunch of open 3s they hit all night long. But relying on that level of shooting will usually come back to bite you.

All eyes on OG … and Mo Diawara.

It was nice to see us do one of those 4th quarter steal your soul acts we’ve done so many times. Blowouts were getting boring. Gotta sharpen the iron from time to time.

Jose brings energy but not results. Teams are abusing him consistently. He is the guy who lit a fire under CJs ass in atlantas wins. I see him as purely a situational player at this point, someone you can use against an opponent who is already sloppy w their ball handling

Chandler @ 5/7/2026 7:25 AM
I would like to see Kolek as much as anyone else but I get browns approach. In game 1 it was very clear he did not want maxey going off. Lots of ball denial blitzes etc. last night maxey had no problem against McBride backing him down and then hitting fade aways.

That said it would be great to give Kolek some time when maxey sits. (Btw maxey played the entire second half, I believe)

If og is out or hampered I expect to see more of sochan than diawara. A lot will depend on how hart is doing against Paul g.

Yep - that is nice to see.

I think I had read that prior to the 4th quarter collapse we had vs. the Hawks in round 1 at home (can't remember the game #) our 4th quarter differential was the best in the NBA in last 40 or so years. Could be off but think I read something along those lines.

Obviously EVERYTHING hinges on OG not being out because he's basically Dave DeBusschere right now.

Speaking of DeBusschere --- this squad as it's playing right now (particularly with ball moving thru Kat) is as close to the early 70's team on both sides of the ball that I've ever seen. Contributions from everyone - don't know if it's going to be Brunson/Towns/OG/Mikal/Josh/Deuce/Mitch making the big play and unselfish offensive play all over the court.

I do think our bench is kind of shrinking in the moment a bit -- need Mitch to show up, need Deuce/Shamet to show up more and could use a signature Clarkson game off the bench. Thought Clarkson made some big buckets early when Sixers were rolling. Can't believe how small our bench rotation is w/out Mitch. Huck is kind of a hamburger to me - nice kid but a foul waiting to happen.

It's like that one bf of a young Winona Rider who complained she was hiding her goods and he couldn't keep up with the amount of sex she demanded

Yeah this is a fair take and definitely worry for Brown. But man in the few minutes I did see of GTA, he struggled to make entry passes.
