I guess Towns being in foul trouble is the reason. We only have two guys that setup others,Towns and Kolek. And since Kolek is not in the rotation the opposing team just has to go at Towns to get him in foul trouble and our offense becomes crap. It really looked like we had no business winning this game. I hope we return to playing our style of basketball in Philadelphia

C'mon, Knicks found a way to win, that's good enough.

Also asst% last two games were 62% and 64%. So about the same amount of iso. Biggest difference is they went from 50% to 28% on threes, which is always going to have a lot of luck based variation.

I guess you are right. They did come through at the end. Won despite the 3's not falling and those assists numbers are elite, I didn't realize that. My eye test wasn't accurate. Just need to keep playing this way then. Anything above 6O% assist% is Championship basketball, like Clyde said in that interview with Jimmy Fallon

After all these rough years, we got to enjoy every minute of this. Knicks are already halfway to the Finals!

I think we mostly saw the effect of KAT being in foul trouble. He both spreads the floor and moves the ball. In his absence, the offense filtered through Brunson - who Philly trapped with Barlow + another defender. That height was too much for Brunson and resulted in many broken possessions.

The other guys were having off shooting nights.

The rotations were off. Without Mitch, the second unit has too many guards and not enough length. Huk got himself in fouls trouble.

My biggest question is why Diawara is so far down Brown’s depth chart. Without a criticism, is he missing rotations or some other error? Just rookie bias? He seems pretty advanced for a rookie and his length would balance the 2nd unit.

Knicks played smart basketball defense

Definitely it's because he's a rookie.
