help defense is something that is integral to the knicks defensive strategy and zuby covers so much ground and is an elite at being vertical. look at his dunks and how explosive he is off 2 feet.
then look at his 3pt mechanics. look at cam boozers mechanics from 3. they aren't even on the same planet. boozer shoots 3s like he is 6'5.
ppl just massively underrating zubys potential as a pro bc hes gonna be an old rookie.
quintace I would stay away from bc his defensive tape is great but it reminds me of James wiseman's defensive tape. I think that era for bigmen is dead you really gotta bring something else to the table.
I've seen every televised st johns game over the last 4 years...Pitino has done wonders developing Zubys game...each year he has shown gradual improvements. Low post moves, foot work, tje 3 point shot, and the most underrated part of his game is his passing. But. what really stands out about his game is his relentless motor

Agreed. Zuby is legit. It’ll feel a little like Ron Artest if he’s there at 24 and we pass
So many freshman being picked on potential. I feel like there’s a lot of risk in this draft .
Kind of a boring draft so far. I can’t tell, not watching on tv

Lottery picks tend to be the one and done players
What? OKC needs another PG?
Man someone here called for the kid from Stanford to go to Memphis good call !
fitzfarm wrote:I don’t think we are trading picks this year … we are strapped and these 2 picks fill up cheap roster spots … this team needs cheap good players and picking a player like zuby is better than some of the more expensive vet options that we can’t even afford. Plus it builds out our young core . Kolek
McBride
Mo, pacome
Zuby
Tarris reed jr
That’s youth that will all contribute and with a few that could become starters in a few years …
This roster needs flexibility
Moving on from Mitch, Jose, Shamet sucks
But we have a core of youth that is on the brink of being an upgrade if developed properly.
That’s what good teams do.
And even PAC has potential to be really really good … and the other thing is that’s 6 cheap roster spots and you can spend the money to keep the core intact.
Mitch is the one that would be sad to loose he’s our guy and a great grit player. But we need him to take a pay cut and I don’t see that happening.
Love big country Mitch!
I've been inclined to think the same all along, including not retaining Mitch or Shamet and just rolling with our talent pipeline + draft picks which would do the job IMO
However, Brock Aller tends to pull off trades or pick swaps 5 minutes before it is our turn to select so I'll be interested to see if we're drafting or dealing

100%. We don’t need him this season. Get that knee fixed and come back strong next season. We can afford to take the risk
That would completely depend on medicals and if he is considered damaged goods depending on extent of the injury
I doubt the Knicks are going to draft bigs who are 2-3 year projects
They are looking to repeat and need front court help now

Spurs! Just did us another favor !
For some reason I think we are going to draft meleek thomas … which would really bum me out.

I wouldn't mind being back Precious Achiuwa on the minimum and either go BPA with the picks or expand our draft assets by trading back.
Lopez is still there. Probably won’t get past Philly though
If Cam Carr falls to us, I will be ecstatic.

Was just gonna post this. It’s a possibility!
I liked the idea of Karim Lopez but never saw him play

Labaron Philon is still on the board too. Wouldn't mind either

If we pass on Carr I’m gonna get all Tari Eason all up in this place.
