I expect CLE to shoot better at home. They will feed off of their home crowd. We need to stay focused. This is a battle tested team. We cannot take them lightly at all.

Probably looking at a 5 or 6 game series. I am taking a trip Memorial Day weekend and won’t have the lucky shirt on Saturday.

WTF. You don’t know how to pack a shirt? You’re going to risk cosmic energy? Your significant other will understand and if they don’t that’s the universe speaking to you

Martin is this ban-able?

I want an exception for Legler. I think he’s been great

Shaq and Barkley’s hate is predictable and boring and they’re not funny anymore. And Stan (like his brother was) is a horrible color man. Dumb insights that essentially amount to things were tougher in old days and should be again and super duper dumb repetitive dad jokes

Legler actually provides insight and good energy. Also ESPN should have an option to have Monica McNutt complete w a video feed. I love her energy

BlueKnickers wrote:I liked the whole game. Maybe some felt differently in the first half, but I felt our team showed up to start the game and it was a close first half because Cavs played quite well on offense.

But our team has a different aura than theirs. I never felt any doubt at half-time about winning the game and our guys behaved like they knew it too.

The Cavs backcourt is not tough enough to propel the Cavs at this point. DM has none of Brunson's clutch energy. I thought the Cavs bigs were terrific in the first half and if DM and Harden were smart they would have emphasized setting up Allen and Mobley in the 2nd half. But the Cavs caved under our pressure to start the third and after that they couldn't regain their composure so they defaulted to freelancing on offense which was not going to cut it.

I do think we stole their souls last game. They looked like zombies in the 2nd half. Maybe fatigue plays into it, but this is for all the marbles so you can rest in the off-season. They looked dead to me.

Hats off to your guys turning up the pressure and sealing the victory early.

Allen and especially Mobley were outstanding in the 1st half. For some reason, Harden and Mitchell conatntly looked them off in the second half. The Cavs advantage is in the front court but the backcourt seems to think otherwise....

Yeah that was nuts. I know the Knicks were collapsing some but I heard after the game that Mobley didn’t have a shot (shot not basket) in second half!!! wtf. That guy has a perimeter game too

That’s on Atkinson!!

Someone tried to F Ernie once and he squeaked in terror like a frightened puppet

F LeBron. Maybe he can go back to Cleveland so he and Harden can enjoy a wonderful two weeks together next November before Harden demands a trade.

Lebron tried to F himself once and decided it wasn't as good as a threesome with Wade and Bosh

I’d place some money on LeBron coming to NY if he could bring his son along. I think that could be the carrot for him.

He's either staying in LA or going to CLE. The only way he ends up in NY is if he goes to Brooklyn. Teams aren't clearing the deck to make cap space for a 42 yr old on his last leg. He makes way too much money.

I did mean on vet min

Great win!
Our PG with career high in dimes!
Our PF with a heck of a shooting night.
Well balanced offense with starters ALL chipping in.
The defense I thought was the difference as was the bad shooting from their two big three point shooters. Strus and Merril a combined 2-15 from three.
Harden and DM once again looking tired in the fourth.
We are on a crazy run and dreaming of it continuing through the finals!

Not that I wish this but Kenny could be coaching himself out of a job.

Game 1 he muffs a 20+ point lead in the fourth, no time outs or adjustments

Game 2 Mobley doesn’t get a shot in second half? And veiled blame at Merrill about having open looks but missing

Both games the team seems to lack chemistry

Things could get ugly

Whereas we have a host of guys who didn’t chase the last penny, DM seems to be angling for his super max - 5 years 350 million (yikes)

I was surprised Cleveland managed to forget their choke in game 1 and play a solid first half. I thought they would be a depressed team just looking to get back home but they played hard. I was getting annoyed at all the offensive rebounds and we were fortunate Merill missed like 4 open threes. We made adjustments at half time and built a good lead into the 4th. Josh Hart was terrific! Missed his first 3 threes but hit his next 5/8! Had a sick spin and layup on Allen too. This is why I love Hart and I never get down on him even when he has his slumps and struggles. He's a warrior and usually comes up big when his best is needed.

This was a near perfect floor game by Brunson. Career high 14 assists to 3 turnovers. He didn't have it offensively but didn't force it like sometimes he does and just dissected the defense! I love those plays where they send two guys at him and he finds Mikal at the FT line for an easy floater or jumper. Mikal continues to play and shoot out of his mind! 9/12 and he's shooting 68/48/100 his last 9 games! INSANE!!! KAT was good too. He's still can't buy a FT attempt even though he get's mugged every time he drives but finished with 18/13 and hit 3/5 from three. OG looked and moved well and hit that huge 3 to kill the Cavs run in the 4th. Bench didn't do much aside from Clarkson who hit some shots. Deuce was a donut, Shamet was quiet and Mitch wasn't impactful. The FT issues are concerning. But great move by Brown who kind if baited Atkinson into a hack-a-Mitch only to sub him right KAT right when they got their 4th foul.

We're up 2-0 and we're feeling good as we should and we can all taste the NBA Finals but this series is NOT over. Cavs are a different team at home. Expect Merill, Strus and Wade to shoot a lot better. We haven't had a good whistle at all at home and we can be sure it's likely to be worse on the road. I also think Mitchell is due for a monster game. But we only need 1 in Cleveland!

Nalod @ 5/22/2026 9:34 AM
Kenny?
Blame the knicks. Simply a better team.
He got them thru First two rounds.
Maybe he not the guy but easy to blast hiim after OUR team just destroyed them.
Why revel in Cavs misery when one can elevate the Job that MIke brown is doing. All these historical posts about what a nice run it is and not so much praise on him getting this group to buy in.

Tuesday Hart was kept out and Shamet go it done. last night Josh was awesome on both sides of the court! Fucking brilliant and he answered the call. Someone said pull him in the fisrt 5 min of the game? I think what we miss is if the game is close we have the advantage of depth.

Fact is Kenny cannot counter. He can't sub out his guys because he does not have the depth.
Game one? He gets some credit for a 22 pt lead but that team ran out of gas. It was predicatable and the real shock was not blowing it, but that they actually ahd built it!

Regular seaosn they were just one game behind us. They had a very nice season and maybe Gilbert cans his ass in frustration after spending the money but they were better with Harden than Garland.

Two back to back 7 game series win shows me they have resiliant Game three is their last line. Win it and they have hope still.
Knicks this playoff run are a juggernaut!

Teams with the best record usually hold the league MVP. Finals MVP is often "Playoffs MVP"......And this kid is for sure in line if knicks can win 6 more games!

So happy Stan Van is not near the microphone for the rest of the way. Breen is a bit of a homer but thats ok! Leggs is good and Jefferson cleaned up his act the last few years.

Mikal has been amazing, but OG hasn't looked the same since coming back. Mikal is just doing everything well, he's just a winning player who doesnt need the ball.

I saw DM's post game and I think given they won two 7 game series with comebacks they are riding that vibe and not panicking. They are mostly a vet oriented team. They are simply not deep enough and likely very tired. That, and Knicks are simply peaking as the season goes along.

That knicks are making teams look bad makes it hard to evaluate opponents. Thats what 9 in a row and some with large spreads does. Philly Beats Boston in 7 and then looks like shit. Knicks did that.

Fox and Harper are hurting. JWilliams Hammy is not holding up. Dare I even say it? LOL!!!!!

OG took care of Mobley last night!
He had a few good looks and getting it back.
Game one he was a force going to the rim, getting rebs and was very instrumental in the the 22 pt comeback!
In his place Mikal getting more shots and since they guarding OG so tight, they double dog dared Josh to beat them.
He did.
Next man up? Tune in!

I don’t have an issue with Legler and I agree he’s a good commentator.

Barkley has been sh tting on the Knicks for 30+ years. Since that fight in 1993 he’s had blood lust for us. He’s basically made a second career sh tting on us. Seriously f ck that fat f ck I don’t care if he’s on ozempic now. I hope his liver fails.

It’s Harden. The guy is a cancer who hijacks teams that’s why he’s been on 8 teams in 8 years. He’s impossible to coach and does his own thing always expecting to get bailed out by the refs. He can’t guard a parking meter he guards Brunson the entire 4th quarter game 1 which caused the comeback down 20 with 6 minutes left in the game. Then runs point expecting to get his normal asinine asskessfest from the refs the rest of the game and OT.

I predict Harden is on a different team next February

to beat OKC or SA we are going to need OG to be himself.

He is working hard as hell dealing with the length of Mobley & Allen on the boards and defensively. If we had a real PF we could free him up and just sick him on Harden to expedite him considering retirement. And or add extra help defense for the paint or perimeter.
