F LeBron. Maybe he can go back to Cleveland so he and Harden can enjoy a wonderful two weeks together next November before Harden demands a trade.

Lebron tried to F himself once and decided it wasn't as good as a threesome with Wade and Bosh

Brunson flambéd Harden

I’d place some money on LeBron coming to NY if he could bring his son along. I think that could be the carrot for him.

He's either staying in LA or going to CLE. The only way he ends up in NY is if he goes to Brooklyn. Teams aren't clearing the deck to make cap space for a 42 yr old on his last leg. He makes way too much money.

People would poo-poo the idea of Jalen Brunson as a MVP in this league....but James Harden won one and- I don't give a damn what the numbers say- Jalen is better than Harden ever was especially when games matter the most. There I said it!

Our defense has been amazing in the post season. We have 6 wins where we held the opponent under 100 points. Only gave up more than 109 1 time. 114 in the sweep of PHI. Mike Brown has been awesome so far.
JBGoat @ 5/22/2026 12:03 AM
I really don't see what CLE can do differently. Try to beat us with Allen and Mobley inside? They need to shoot better as a team but, they just can't sustain the intensity when we go 5 out and hit shots. We have them on their heels right now. The HC seems clueless in the post game comments. I expect a big fight in Cleveland though. Wonder how our fans will travel for this series to help frustrate another team.

Lebron will never wear a Knicks uniform.

Kenny Atkinson was supposed to be one of those brilliant coaches who maximizes talents and builds strategies that leverages the strengths of his players.

Maybe that was true once, but he seems kind of lost now

Mikal has been great these playoffs ON BOTH ENDS - playing like the wingstop we hoped we were getting.

Think more than anyone the rest between both playoff series really helped him give he never takes a day off.

Feel really good for him (and I was bitching about him like most mid-year) because he is just playing flawless, perfect, team basketball right now.

ALL our guys just doing what they need to do - VERY BEAUTIFUL to watch.

YES - slowly coming around - need to get him back to where he was hopefully soon.

Clyde looked joyous at the end of the game. I love that man. I am so happy he's around to see a championship run. And he was dressed like an LSD lollipop tonight.

Shamet's defense is on another level. He changes the game when he steps on the floor.
Maybe now people are understanding why I've been saying he's more impactful than Deuce.
He's bigger, stronger and he's a better player.
I like Deuce, but the only time he's mattered in these playoffs so far was the last game of the last series.

Brunson's game tonight was really nuanced. I think he's getting better as a leader on and off the floor. Excellent team-oriented performance tonight.

Hart shot 0.413% from three this season. He's a good shooter. I do think he sometimes fall into a deferential mindset, but I hope this game fixes that and he just bombs away.
In years past, sagging on Hart was an excellent strategy. I'm scratching my head about why opponents still think it is a good strategy in 2026. The numbers tell the opposite story.

KAT was low-key very good and attentive about doing what was needed. I believe he will have a big scoring night against the Cavs this series, but it hasn't been necessary. He's doing a lot of good on both ends of the floor.

OG is coming back. If he can keep trending we'll be more dangerous in the finals. His defense is locking in. His offense is ramping up.

Lastly, Bridges has been Mr. Right at the Right Time. He's dynamic, he jets around the court and shows up in the pocket, in the lane, slides over to take the bailout, he's a man on the move. He feels like our glue guy this series. I respect his performance so far. Very solid.

Mitch/Deuce very disappointing with the up/down play --- Mitch has been pretty horrible and Deuce kind of toast on D and missing on O after the magical Sixer game. Hate when he is dribbling around like chicken with head cut off and going nowhere.

Will only have a chance if we win the title this year and he/we have a magical regular season next year.

Tough to accomplish BUT...?

Clean @ 5/22/2026 12:24 AM

Bringing back old Knicks was one of the best things we done. Starbury trade was what turned me from a casual Knicks fan to a hardcore one so I will always have a special place in my heart for him. H20 is my fav Knick of all time though. I was just too young to be a hardcore fan back then. Him and Spree was a menace.

We shall see how serious we want this series -- if we come out with relentless D (like in Philly) we should be good but if we get into trading buckets and losing guys wide open series will tighten up quick.

They missed open looks. That's the excuse. They missed 26. We missed 23. That was not the difference in the game. We are just figuring them out and making the adjustments. It's truly the best basketball I can remember watching from this team.

LivingLegend @ 5/22/2026 12:28 AM
Mikal has played Harden as well as you can play him and without a bunch of fouls. He's not letting him get to his strong left hand that often and just working very hard while being disciplined. VERY VERY GOOD playoffs so far - very special.

Mitch is becoming more of a situational player as these playoffs progress. He has zero hoops intellect of his own, just a massive frame and some legit defensive talent. Some games he is truly a difference maker, at other times his effort is ineffectual. Several years ago, he baked Mobley and Allen in the playoffs. This year they're outplaying him, probably because of their experience, partly because Mitch has no adjustments on them.

I'm also seeing times where Mitch's attention is wandering and he shambles around aimlessly on some possessions. Coach Brown needs to get him to focus, because when he's on the floor we should own the boards and that is only happening now when our whole team outhustles Cleveland. Mitch has had dominant games this season, but that's not the guy we're seeing at the moment.

It may be necessary to give Hukporti some minutes in the next few games to keep him involved and ready for the Finals. I think we might need him.

JBGoat @ 5/22/2026 1:33 AM

There's dozens of dozens of statistical tweets out there. We could read posts for days on how much this team is making history. This is a special team. I hope they can maintain this focus, versatility and resiliency for the rest of the playoffs.

JBGoat wrote:That's a convincing win. We were a little sloppy in the first half but, never looked like we were gonna lose control. Total dominance in the third and they tried but, couldn't close the gap. 5 out and CLE has no answer for it. As long as we hit those shots we should win.

I expect CLE to shoot better at home. They will feed off of their home crowd. We need to stay focused. This is a battle tested team. We cannot take them lightly at all.

Probably looking at a 5 or 6 game series. I am taking a trip Memorial Day weekend and won’t have the lucky shirt on Saturday.

WTF. You don’t know how to pack a shirt? You’re going to risk cosmic energy? Your significant other will understand and if they don’t that’s the universe speaking to you

Martin is this ban-able?
