So True
That can't compare to this and that was special
What's different is not just going to the finals, but the way we're playing
Only those of us who were alive to see the original Knicks championship teams have witnessed this kind of harmonious basketball
This is rare
You can go whole seasons without a single team executing like this
I mentioned the GS Warriors teams because they played in true sync like this during their championship era
Savor this, because it only happens in the NBA a few times a decade at most

What can I say, he's a multitasker. He's doing Jalen Brunson's Knick player job, and Rick Brunson's Knick player job at the same time.
Did anyone see Clarkson and DM after the game?
They were hugging each other and obviously like each other from their time together in Utah
DM probably at least happy for his mate even if he's disappointed for himself

YES! Hopefully we can put this to bed
unreal run, no words. best thing is OG is looking like OG and everyone gets even more rest now. This is our year.
This is a fun site to glance over: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Knicks_all-time_roster
Mardy Collins and Stevie Franchise ..... brought back some memories!
Windhorst: "I talked to some Knicks coaches…
When they changed the offense to go thru KAT
It wasn't just give the ball to KAT
It was also run action off ball
Moving Brunson around…
Moving OG…
Mikal…
Josh…
They love it
They. Love. It.
So that engages them on D…
So now when they get a rebound…
They're tearing off to the other end…
Because they wanna get down there
Because they know
They're gonna be involved…
So…why does it take 90% of the season for that to happen?
IDK why…
But it happened.
Not only has it unlocked their talent
It's unlocked their chemistry…
Now you watch them play
And it's one giant party"
I hope Shamet has found a home here even if he has to take less. The CUP and finals money should help...lol

I did notice that they did not run the offense through KAT last night as much as in prior series. Wonder why? Was it an adjustment to a Cav's adjustment or personnel?

He can't leave, he just can't!
But I don't see how he didn't just earn himself a bag. 3&D and big playoff performances.
Knicks can offer him up to $15.6mil with early bird rights. But don't know if they would be willing to do that unless they are willing to part with both Deuce & Mitch.

In these playoffs, his TS% (72.6%) and 3-point percentage (54.8%) are hyper-elite, driven by his blistering 17-for-21 stretch from deep over his last six games.
Finally a shooter I can compare to Steve Novak off the bench, only Shamet plays good defense!
Such a good feel good story is Shamet, I'm so happy for him. Enjoy the moment, young man!!!

Maybe it’s cause he was hurt so much last year but his defense came out of nowhere? I don’t recall this level from him previously, maybe even from earlier this year
