This is now settled but I could certainly watch an Old School oiled up rematch version with Blue reffing
we match up better against, and have played better against, the Spurs
I'm more worried about their guards, especially with Harper's improvement, than with Wemby. their guards are big and faster. Wemby is a bit of a wild card on offense as he can settle for threes to easily, and if KAT shoots from outside the Spurs have to decide who is guarding him. If it's Wemby there goes the paint protection.
has San Antonio any players with nagging injuries ?
SAS:
A young coach with a young team. Pop is behind the scense giving advice.
Knicks need to get them impatient and instinctivly incapable of the being in the moment.
Our team has more experience and perhaps focus. They have the money, they have the awards, the accolades and chemistry to over come adversity.
Knicks have the talent but SAS has a taller ceiling. No pun intended. This team just took out the best team in the league in a seven game series, the defending champs, withstood the MVP's best shot (SGA Played quite well!) in a game 7 series on the road!
I know we playing really good ball and ran thru the east but im not some impressionalbe Bing Bongers who can yell it into existance.
Im not calling anything, no predictions, not saying we win, or lose. Im saying they scare me.
Im excited for the theatre of it all and hope by hook or by crook we prevail for an epic moment!

Big, Young, Strong, Athletic team, a handful.
Still, if the Knicks play their best defense Spurs will feel the pressure.
Further, when faced with the other team's best effort defensively, the Knicks have more tools to break down a defense than they do.
All said, with both teams at their best the advantage goes to the Knicks.
Thusly, whomever shows up ready to ball will have a decisive edge.
If we have rust to shake off on offense, our immediate objective out of the gate is to play stifling defense until our offense gets warmed up. THIS IS THE WAY
