It's just that OG made a historically great defense play. By bringing it out, Fox most likely kills an extra 1-2 seconds and then has to hit 2 FTs to get you the same outcome the layup gets you. Now, it didn't work in his favor because of OG's brilliance, but I think the tactical decision making on his part wasn't as abysmal as it's being portrayed. I think 90% of the time you want him scoring that layup, just not with OG trailing him.

I disagree 1000%. He’s a vet and best FT shooter on the team. He also did some questionable shots and passes before this play, so he had an opportunity to make up for those plays. Instead he compounded the issue and should be investigated, along with the refs.

Been saying this all season but JB needs a PG in this starting lineup who can guard 2s. Browns decision to play GTA won the game.

One thing not talked about is another ref error. The last play of Game 4, on the inbound, when KaT got a fingertip on the ball, the clock should have started not when Castle was getting the ball.

Brunson is not a traditional PG

His ball handling skills are built around his ISO game which is superb, but at his size his handle is not at the level he can outrun full court pressure and double teams by dribbling his way out of traffic.

He's Jalen Brunson, not Steve Nash, so he pretty much should always be paired with a guard with a superior handle to release the pressure defenses place on JB.

McCullar is going to be the best pairing we have, the world just doesn't know it yet, because at 6'5" he gives JB a backcourt mate with size and defensive intensity to seal up the backcourt and the handle to alleviate the pressure on Brunson. McCullar is a very good passer, better than Jose.

Kolek and McCullar should be the future priorities not Clarkson, Deuce or even Jose (who had a really good game two nights ago).

For now, Jose is the best option to pair up with Brunson, for sure, though Shamet can slot into that role too.

Hadn't even noticed that issue. Yeah, sure..."ref error"

Feels like an excuse the league might use for the officiating this series.
