Wow, I don’t know how many of you remember Howard Cosell and the game of the week on ABC. Watching at my grandparents house in Queens on the small box with rabbit ears. We were doing good, we had a clicker that would change channels but we were still getting up constantly to adjust the antennae.
My grandfather introduced me to NY sports. Later on he said he never thought he’d live see the day the Yankees would win another championship. We were miraculously gifted tickets to game 6 to the 1977 WS after the Yankees lost the first two games at home. Box seats right behind home plate. Me, my Mom Uncle and my grandfather. A photographer from SI shot pictures of us and handed my mom the roll. My grandfather died two weeks later the happiest man in NY. I’ll never forget walking from the tunnel, the field lit up and my grandfather looking like a kid as we descended the stairs heading towards the field and our seats. The picture of the four of us still hangs on my wall
The fact that 3 college kids won an NBA title together is mind boggling
No doubt wearing Knicks orange and happily celebrating the Knicks NBA championship.
Time to bring on the World Cup ladies who are celebrating the Knicks win.

Having our legendary Mike call the finals was just icing on the cake.
All these analysts clown the knicks from the NBA cup, Hawks will beat them, then Sixers, then Cavs then when they beat them all they got the easy road to the finals. Whoever in the west is winning. SMH I bet they will clown us next year.

I hope so, stay underdogs!
Reading some complaints on Mitch Johnson, and this one didn't even click for me in real time.
Knicks up 91-88, Josh misses the FT with 26 seconds left and Mitch grabs the board. Spurs did NOT need to foul there, shot clock only resets to 14! Get a stop and you still have 12 on the clock in a 1 possession game.
Yes, Knicks still likely make it a FT game from there, but SAS inexperience was on display.
Also, kudos to Mitch Beast for getting the ball out of his hands almost immediately.

we need more information to determine any camel toe evidence ?

The Christmas Day matchup.
NBA Cup
Expect a warm welcome when SA returns to the Garden next year.
It's funny but I've heard no one panning the Spurs for night shaking the Knicks hand before walking off court. Isiah Thomas got shit in 89 for that, and LeBron caught flack during his first stint with the Cavs for the same "lack of sportsmanship". Whether the media chooses to acknowledge it or not, Wemby has quickly become of the biggest POS's in the league. I hope the dude never wins anything after the way he carried himself this series
FWIW Luke kornet shook the Knicks hands and congratulated them. Wouldn’t mind seeing him as a Knick again
Agree - always liked Kornet when he was with us. Not sure why Spurs didn't use him as a 3 pt threat when Robinson was guarding him to open up the paint a bit.

Kornet has taken about 20 total 3 point shots in the last 5 years
