Oooohh boy, we start with a banger
I'm afraid Randle's not the banger!
Giannis to Miami. Less worried about him there than Boston!
Now that Boston offered Brown twice in the last few years, let's see how comfortable he is playing for them again...

Agreed. Kind of feel bad for Giannis
Am I the only one who thinks Jaylen Brown is incredibly good? Why would anyone take Miami’s scrap heap over Brown plus picks?
Worked out good for us though. Miami still isn’t good enough and Boston is still scrambling.

Turns 30 in October. Milwaukee needs a complete rebuild, he'd be wasted there. Always assumed the plan was to flip Brown to a 3rd team with youth/picks going to Milwaukee, but they must not have been able to find a suitable partner.

Agree, several other teams would have been much tougher to beat if they got him.
With that said, Bam and Greek will be a tough matchup for many.
I am also sure Riley is not done.
Really thought the Thunder would be in on the Giannis sweepstakes as well. They have so many picks.

Can’t believe the Knicks didn’t get him?
After all, I would have started a GoFund me page to cover some of his salary and Todd would have chipped in unlimited cheerleader pics to get our buddy back!
Kinda cold move considering Julius often mentioned how he liked that small town feel of Minnesota.
Guess Brooklyn is smaller than the City.

yea Tatum & Giannis could have been scary.
Giannis in MIA is just Bucks 2.0
Crazy how things have turned on this KAT trade. 6-8 months ago KAT was going through arguably the worst stretch of his career. Career low %'s across the board, and more annoying was the non stop barreling into defenders and complaining/whining to refs while laying on the ground and watching the other team go 5 on 4.
I wanted KAT gone, didn't think he'd change and didn't think you could win with a guy like that.
Now here we are, KAT did a 180 and became an efficient offensive hub and one of our best defenders which I still can't get over. DDV is out for the year, and MIN attaches a 1st to unload Randle. Even though he signed a "team friendly" contract.
Unreal... Randle never had much value around the league even in his prime with us, his playstyle always made him a very difficult fit.
All the trades we made turned out to be huge wins, and even if you want to call the MIkal trade an overpay, it got us a chip and was offset by getting everyone else on the cheap.
Even the whole Grimes thing, I liked him and he turned into a solid 3 & D guy, but he wants big money and he's just an absolute clusterfuck under pressure in the playoffs, the game never slowed down for him, he's still going at 110% all the time and not reading situations.
Leon made the right call on so many guys, because we had to let alot of good young talent go, but does anyone want to be paying RJ, IQ, Grimes & Obi $100m per year right now? You can't win like that.
Pat Riley is going to get the banana boat out of storage. If LeBron opts out, does he take his talents to South Beach? Just put the news on. On a side note, Iman Shumpert is easily the best nba commentator ESPN has. I love this guy
Bam and Giannis will be formidable protecting the paint. Who are there wings now?
I feel bad for Randle going to Brooklyn. To go from playing as a Knick to now a Net is diabolical!
I honestly could care less about Giannis going to the cHeat.

He and Bam make a formidable front court pairing. I'd be watching the LBJ for Wiggins trade next followed by the landslide of vets. I'm curious if they will re-up Trevor Keels.

Both of those guys shoot around 30% from 3pt. Not sure how good a pairing they are. They are going to need shooters. Does Giannis play Center?

IMO, trading for Brown would have been a lateral move for the BUCKS and the 2 FRP would have been in the high 20s. The Heat package makes much more sense for them.

It’s interesting. In my head, they’d have had some ability to flip Brown to Portland for some of their picks back and better youth players. I assume Portland shut that down. Brown is kind of the piece Portland could use. Even if it wasn’t locked in at the time of trade, I’d have taken Brown over the hodge podge of talent Milwaukee accepted from Miami. I’m giving Milwaukee a D- on this one.
