Man I didn’t realize there were so many nuances to contracts

6 teams in 6 years? What a great locker room guy!

It would be sick

I know some of us hate on KP but fact is when healthy he is really good.
"When" is the debate. No risk, no reward. He has a unique skill set and expectation is likley he plays 50-60 games max.

Jah to Portland? Has to be more to come.
Duran to SAC? I'd expect Pistons to take back Sabonis. If so, that actually might make them better in the short run.

He is a really good scarecrow on defense when he isn’t out with a cold.

Didn't you say a few weeks back he'd be out of the NBA?

Perhaps part of the path to get Lebron? Lakers take KP?
Or a 3rd team?

I don’t know how any of this makes sense LOL

Mitch on Facebook:

The last two weeks have been the highlight of my life, and I am finding it difficult to articulate my appreciation for this extraordinary moment. After battling my personal demons and continuing to push forward, I am grateful to everyone who has supported me on my path to becoming a world champion. The fact that I now have my own day, June 25th, is simply astonishing. I am still trying to process everything that has happened, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to God, my friends, and family. Your support during my lowest points, when I felt I didn't belong, has been instrumental in helping me overcome my struggles and persevere. I appreciate you all. Thank you.🤍

Really touching stuff. I have been saying this for awhile. There are somethings money can't buy.

Good move for the Raptors. Outside of health concerns, I just don't think Poeltl and RJ can be starters on a contender. Even starting Barnes and RJ seems risky because neither can spread the floor. Same issue we had with Randle and RJ.

Detroit, Indiana, and Boston are the biggest challengers in the East and so far those guys haven't done anything. Charlotte, Miami, Toronto- I don't think can beat the Knicks in a series.

Role players on the move!

gradyandrew @ 6/30/2026 11:56 PM
Is Lebron on the phone now with Harden, Love, and Westbrook trying to convince them all to make a run on minimum contracts in San Francisco?
gradyandrew @ 7/1/2026 12:02 AM
How is Zach Collins signing for more money than Luke Kennard?
Knixkik @ 7/1/2026 8:16 AM
Very boring free agency so far. Seems like the big names on the trade market are really dictating the free agent market this time around.
DLeethal @ 7/1/2026 8:57 AM
There’s been zero noise around Mitch and lots of Centers have been signed. That seems encouraging.

Pistons signing Collins at 20+m, 76'ers signing Wade for almost double the Shamet deal...

These teams are getting worse and spending big money to do so. One thing that stands out is some guys just can't perform under intense pressure in the playoffs, its a product of players not taking the regular season seriously and mid guys putting up numbers against bad teams. But is John COllins really scaring you in the playoffs? We'll lock him up and make him a complete non factor.

agreed. If collins was half as good as he thinks he is he'd be the GOAT.

I don't have a problem with Wade though. He's sneaky effective. Stays in front of his man. Has length. Can shoot. Contract seemed high though

Quentin Grimes "expected" to sign with the Lakers at around 10m year 1, per Marc Stein/Jake Fischer.

Not the pay day he was hoping for after taking the qualifying offer last year, but curious to see the number of years attached to it.

Outside of LeBron, now that he's opted out, there aren't really any big name free agents, and LeBron has never made a quick decision in his career. Still been a good amount of movement!

Wade is fine, but 4/39m for a guy that puts up 5 & 4 and low volume average 3pt % is really a tough deal.
