Why not bring him on a 2-way? It makes sense. I don’t think he’s trying to force a full contract at this point. And I’m sure he realizes that with the Knicks up against the second apron year after year there’s a chance 2-way guys get their chance to fill out the roster when the time comes.
So you’re saying there’s still a chance

And you got Cam Reddish playing on the Orlando squad!

He showed up and did a few things. Just keep the ball rolling young fella
I was looking for orchestration and though he did have a slick, high-level pass, I'd like to see more of what he can do as a playmaker. Don't care if he is seen as a combo guard. He's too young to pigeonhole yet
Watching some of the game yesteday and Nickel's effort on defense was just as impressive as his shooting. Kid was working out there!

Not very good. No one has outside of Nickel has shown much, In the second half Kayil looked better last night. I don't like to read too much into summer league but, I haven't seen anything worth talking about so far outside of what I just mentioned. They got smoked in both games because no one else could score.
What might Mo be working on now that he has his contract and trying to improve?
Im not worried about bit about his box score if he his trying to impliment something new and then get it down pat thru the summer.

He need to work on his handle for one. His decision making. His footwork and post moves. His skinny frame. There's a lot he needs to work on. He looked good as a random bench player that teams didn't scout for initially last season but, that was very short lived. I know everyone has high hopes for this kid but, reality tells me he is still raw and needs to work on a lot. He did not look good at all to me yesterday against summer league players but, I'll give him a pass for now. People are really depending on this kid to make an impact this year and I don't see it yet. It's early and I'm not writing him off. I just refuse to get excited about youth anymore until they really show out. Too many times we have seen them come and go like a flash in the pan.
I hope they start Kayil next game. I would really like to see how he does as the starting lead guard. He and Nickel look like solid players. PD has also looked good in summer league. I have a newfound respect for his game, which is subtle but solid. Mo clearly needs to work on his game. Right now he cannot do anything without being setup.
Anyone else thoughts on the consolidated FT thing?
There have been only two significant changes to be expected due to this SL
1) Nickel will get a contract and will be a rotation player
2) Mo may not even be in the rotation initially
Next SL Game vs. Pistons on Monday 7/13 @ 4pm EST on Amazon Prime

I absolutely hate it. Seriously, two free throws is apart of the game … gives players rest and can change the momentum of the game…
Absolutely hate it… dumb… bush league or in this case summer league lol
