OK perhaps not?

Reports are that at PHilC's urging he is studing the Atlas and wondering should he use KAYAK or Expedia for his "Quick" JFK jaunts when the booty call need arises.

Reports are that his elecrical engineer wife already understood (Thanks to Phil the rest of us do now!) that NYC is on the east coast of the north american continent and remains just a quick two stop 10-13 hour flight! They are in deep geogrphical study to determine her ovulation schedule and if its a good fit with knicks or now.

You're getting awfully personal with my family matters now

Get your spoon out of my jam!

Nalod now triggered that I pointed out NYC is closer to the Baltic states than Denver, hot take I know

If you two decide to get a room, I'll pay for the first night

Would that include drinks and the dominatrix they obviously need too? Worth it

Not holding back anything. They get the whole package including choice of cosplay outfits for each bloke

Nalod @ 7/14/2026 10:29 PM
You guys would pay to see Philc give me a "Geography lesson".....>y'all sick phucks!
martin @ 7/15/2026 5:47 PM
OK now he’s officially out, presumably

Worth reading into anything about Jemison being with the team last night at the ESPYS?

I've said it before, really would not mind him getting the last spot as our 3rd string C. Thought he gave us solid minutes when called on this year.

I liked Jemison too in the limited sampling time we had to watch him play

Other than he was a part of the championship team? I mean, I liked him and I wouldn't mind giving him a two way but, I won't lose sleep over him.

How about 7’5” Jamarion Sharp? He’s on the Raptors SL team but isn’t signed. 7’9” wingspan. Might be worth at least a 2 way if Raptors pass on him

My comment was qualified by saying it was a low sampling size, IOW he may be good, but I have no certainty of this

He's not exciting or flashy, but his lack of fuck ups was noticeable in those limited minutes. Didn't bobble the ball around. Didn't miss bunnies. No brain farts.

From a 3rd string center, I'm more than ok with someone who can go out there and just be adequate. If he gives anything more, it's all gravy.

Not eligible for a 2 way deal though, this will be his fourth season.

Rose will be Center hunting next February.

Would keep an eye on Dereck Lively. Mavs gave Aldama big money to play center for them. Lively has foot issues which is not good for a center but his skill set is what Mitch gave us.

55, 36, 7 games played in previous seasons and a $7.2M contract. That'd be a tough situation and trade. Deuce and Dadiet don't add up to enough and after that I don't know who you add in and keep the roster at 14 guys.

Was looking at this route weeks ago. The main issue is Lively makes $7.2mil. We would need to trade 2 for 1 with Deuce & Dadiet. But then have 2 roster spots needed to be filled at about a $2.5mil rate or $5mil total. The Knicks only have about $3.2mil left under the 2nd apron. Granted they could sign both Nickel & Kayil for about $1.5mil each to cover that. But that combination of Lively, Nickel, Kayil isn't ideal for a championship contender.

Ideal scenario for best chance at back to back. Is trading Deuce for Diabate. Signing Bron for vet min. Trade Dadiet for future 2nder to clear roster spot. Sign Nickel to a multi year deal around rookie min for full bird right control.

Towns/Diabate/Drummond
Bron/Diabate/Diawara
Annuoby/Hart/Nickel
Mikal/Shamet/Clarkson
Brunson/Alvarado/Kolek

Good take. Only thing you might need to consider is Deuce's trade value and perhaps that Diabate is well regarded in Charlotte. Can't say he is the solution a the 5 for Charlotte. He is on an expiring this year and not eligiable for extension until Feb of 2027. He about won the staring role out of default and they did really well but he is it thin for the 5.
The money works as a trade but Can't say what Deuces role would be and if they want to pay him. f
Its a good idea but many moving parts to work thru and I think he is still their starting center?

Gut feeling is that the Hornets want a 1st rounder back for Diabate. Probably wouldn't be a Deuce for Diabate deal straight up if pulled off. Knicks would need to work magic on a 3 way deal where they could get a protected 1st back for Deuce that they are able to slide to the Hornets.

Will start at SF, would slide to PF depending on game needs.

OR, or Knicks FO need to back channel with Diabate's agent or help him switch to CAA ala OG couple years back

Ah the old Leon special!

Diabate for 3 2nd's should have gotten the deal done already. But Hornets most likely fighting hard to prevent a Knicks repeat. Given they are attempting to contender over the upcoming years.
