We don't have many options but I'd keep that spot open and let Trey Jemison and Liam Robbins battle it out at camp. Wouldn't mind Nick Richards but he's likely out of our price range. It's the 3rd string Center so it's not that big of a deal.
I can’t see Nick Richards being out of our price range. No one has signed him and money is dried up. He’s likely a minimum guy. I just think either the Knicks simply don’t like him or he wants a secure backup role, not third string. As for the others, I agree with bringing in Robbins and Jemison regardless and letting them duke it out for a 2-way spot. Having one of them as the 4th center is totally fine. But we do really need another reliable guy, even if it’s an upside project like Cisse would have been. For other options, it’s slim. I’d offer the Kings a high number of second round picks for Dylan Cardwell. He’s the perfect player and contract for this team. But he’s probably off limits. I don’t see any other obvious guys out there. The center market is tough right now.
Richards and his agent probably want $7-8 million and he’s not getting those offers. Hopefully once the season gets closer he becomes more amenable to a one year league minimum offer his value on the open market won’t increase sitting out a NBA regular season on the other hand it will increase greatly if he goes to the Knicks and becomes a key part of the rotation playing on national tv every other night.

Perhaps you can share where you got that $7-8mil figure from?
This "report" insinuates he'd take the Vet Min.
Free agency is barely 3 weeks into.

Next time can you try to be more thorough before you present your weak sauce crap.
Its a legitimate quesition on a legitimate conversation regarding a player being discussed in various media outlets.

I posted a link that discusses a price. You could say "Its my opinion" and be done with it.
Or you can defend the logic.
Or as you did take the low road and throw out an insult rather than stay on point.
Lazy.
Let’s go and get 7’5” jamarion sharpe he looked good in sl and is a presence . We are talking about a 3rd sting center … he’s young and is a shot blocking and rebounding machine . Shot over 70% has good hands. He’s listed at 225 but in summer league he looked bulked up.
With his length he can switch .
Has potential to be the main backup . I think he’s good for 10-15 min a game.
Defensively he’s already a stud …
Honestly why not !

You’re literally trying to extract nothing from thin air. As usual.

A couple of issues with him that I see. I think he already signed a 2-way deal with someone. Also he wasn’t a good college player. I’m thinking he’s probably not actually any good.

Thats a fair description about much of the content you produce.
Right now my favorite option is moving Dadiet and second round pick for Sims. And then signing Sochan to replace Dadiet. Best way to balance out the roster. Leave the 15th spot open for Nickel during the season, or the buy-out market.
So, this is weird.
Found this article re: Alex Len - https://www.yahoo.com/sports/articles/knicks-could-target-12-veteran-234124865.html
And then when I went to look at more info on him, Wikipedia pop-up in Yahoo shows him with Knicks logo, C #21 (sorry can't figure out how to attach the screenshot as attachment here)
(EDIT) - found the reason why. His last NBA presence was with us:
On September 16, 2025, Len signed an Exhibit 9 contract with the New York Knicks. He was waived by the Knicks prior to the start of the regular season on October 18 (2025).
He's been overseas since.
