Everyone put their tin foil hats on with me: NBA maybe also had either an inkling or hope that LeBron would/could end up in New York if they lost the finals. They tried to help by fouling out KAT and all the Wemby stuff.

Reminder: the NBA is a business first and not there to run a basketball purity nirvana league.

My son goes to school at Drexel and his reaction was "oh man, now tickets are going to be too expensive for me to go to any games." lol

I wanted LBJ to come here. I always have liked the guy, felt like I grew up watching him. Oh well, it will be a much more interesting season now. Knicks- 76ers will be must see TV everytime. I thought VJ was the best player for them during the playoffs.It will be really hard for him to get max money going forward just because guys who avg. 15 a game don't get huge paydays. That's a problem for them next year though.

Philly is the number 5 media market, so this will be good for the NBA. I'm glad the wait is over, now it's just chilling until the games begin in November.
